Currently sorting out gear for the Uni society.

Ordering in some new G&G UMG's YAY :D

We need to get some eye pro / face masks in though so people can actually shoot :P

Really need to be:

Full face, as obviously we don't want new members being put off the sport by being shot in the mouth / nose.

Mesh, so we don't get fogging, and potential noobs taking off glasses to defog :P

What do you guys recommend? Budget is around £20-25 per set, although we're thinking of putting in a money request to the uni so we can possibly buy something better.

Most of the things im seeing atm are expensive themed masks, or those dirt cheap masks that a springer could puncture.

As always for mesh I would heroshark goggles and then a cheap mesh lower face.

Or you can get a set of TMC mesh and a lower face for around £20-25 off of action hobbies

that sort of thing, rather than a full face

tbh if someone is new to it and the typical starter face mask, ie this one

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Daditong-Airsoft-Metal-Goggles-Protective/dp/B009GUQRL6/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1364501086&sr=8-9

dosent do the job, is there much point going much futher up for them. if they try it they will see why yous invest in better masks(id be hesitent to have several good masks as they might just 'borrow' them every time(also make sure they are cleaned every time as the thought of someone elses sweat etc on it...)

no point going 2 part masks, as the refitting for each person and more parts to loose...

i assume something like this is what you want to avoid?

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mask-Airsoft-Paintball-Sports-Protection/dp/B005Q1ZDD2/ref=sr_1_20?ie=UTF8&qid=1364501173&sr=8-20

do have to say i did get this following one and it worked great. no problems from facial shots, heard them rather than felt sits comfortably, no wobble only real problem is view is a bit obscured but not badly.all i did was tighten the mesh up and it was grand. still have it in the boot of my car as a back up in case my googles break

Cactus Hobby masks are epic.

Right now I don't use one but i'm planning to in the future.

Yeah but forking out £80 per mask is a bit much when im having to buy 5+ of them...

One thing you may have to think about is if any members of your group wear prescription glasses, as this poses a major hindrance on what face protection will work for the certain player. I wear glasses but I also refuse to wear mesh as in my opinion I believe it isn't very safe in fully auto skirmishes. I wear these http://www.britishmilitarysurplus.co.uk/shopscr189.html along with just a standard mesh lower face mask and it works fine.
