Hello, Will a sports mouth guard protect my teeth in airsofting as i wear a lower mesh mask at the moment but i get hot in it and i think it adds to my goggles fogging.

Yes, it should protect teeth but not your lips from potentially getting split.

Not the ones the guard doesn't cover. My kickboxing mouthguard is only covering the upper teeth, I can't breathe in the one that covers both the upper and lower.

I reckon I'd trim the nasal part off the mask before giving up on it entirely.  Whatever's left is still going to protect you better than a mouthguard.

I use one as a precaution, but there's no gap between the teeth and the guard so if the BB does hit it it could shatter the tooth. All that force has got to go somewhere. Mouth guards are built for contact sport, to protect your teeth from hitting each other, not getting shot at. There's videos online of dental models getting hit and the guard didn't help one bit. But if you're not going to use a mesh mask, some protection is better than nothing I guess.
