It seems there is a bit of a common theme with g36 owners on here as the title suggests, and if you can't, for what ever reason get a new barrel here is a little bit of a bodge. You will need a 25mm plastic  pipe insert, a little bit of E.V.A. foam, a dremmel type tool, some double sided tape, and black paint of your choice. So get your insert (available from most plumbers merchants or similar type shops) mark where you want the prongs to be. Get you're dremmel and  useing a drill bit start drilling/cutting out the marks (the router bit is also good at this)now get you foam and cut small slivers off. Attach these to the outer barrel with the double sided tape. You will need to add or take some away depending on how tight it is on the insert. Slide it on to check the size. It should be tight but not so tight it can't come back on or off. Now while its off paint the bugger. And then revel in your handy work. Just remember this is purely cosmetic, but atleast you gun wont look like its been circumcised. Sorry there are only after photos. I got carried away with my make.I hope this helps.

Which is of course the reaction to a stock G36 flash hider.  Well done, you've nailed it.

That your bodge is every bit as gopping as the original.

Just take the compliment, don't make this weird.

I was getting concerned that it was every bit as retarded as Lloyd. Lol
