....thought i'd share as a good solution, this has been driving me mad for ages!
Have been looking for a quick pull/speed plate to aid mag changes, couldn't find anything less the Magpul subgun rubber pulls, these work well, but i find them a little bulky and you cant lock the spring down with them. Going through my parts box on the off chance, i found some Magpul 9/40mm speed plates for real steal Glock mags. I tried them and they work like a dream!
They're held on by friction, but seem pretty solid. You need to push them forwards to get to the valve, but the vale is properly covered and protected.
