Hey there,

I was wondering what're the best brands for spray painting guns a two-tone colour? I'm tired of the generic reds, greens, oranges, and blues that I see. I really want a yellow or a purple that are bright enough to be considered a two-tone colour.

I talked to the guys at Patrol Base and they said they'd tried the Krylon stuff but it didn't hold very well.

What brands have a bright purple/yellow that will stick to an airsoft gun? (The gun in question is the GHK G5, if that makes any difference, it's mostly made of polymer).

Many thanks,

Tamberlin

I'll be buying a can of the paint (if I find it) and mailing it to the Patrol Base guys.

If you plan to get defence later then maybe plasti dip? There are some nice bright colours and removable later without a trace.

Just a bottle of sprayable plastidip? Also, how do you remove it?

Regardless of the branding, no paint will permanently stick if it has not been prepared, primed and sealed.

Any paint you get should be alright the key I've found (if you don't mind a slightly shinier finish) is to apply a coat or two of clear laquer afterwards.

This will protect the paintjob

I've used Halfords own stuff. Does as well as can be expected, is cheap enough and is more accessible than mumping about with P&P etc, and it comes in the Yellow and Purple you're after.
