Asg Steyr M9 Gas Seals Problems

Hey, 

I have an ASFG steyr M9 C02 non-blowback pistol that is leaking gas when i insert the wee C02 capsule into the gun. Is there a way to "re-activate" the seals because i think the rubber around the piercing gas intake that seals around the tip of the capsule has dried out. Any hints nd hacks i could use to make this thing work?

You can try some silicone oil but most likely you'll need a new valve as you can't get the seals separately.

While it's more of a temporary fix, I've wrapped rubber seals in electrical tape before which held up fairly well.
