TM 417D or VFC Umarex 417D?

I forgot to add, that the 417D can be turned into a very effective DMR, you can buy the 20" barrel kit; http://www.wgcshop.com/wgc2008/main/product_detail1.php?item=VFC-HGD-HK417SR-BK01 then you'd need to spend about £250 - £300 on internal upgrades. What you'll have then is a great looking...

TM 417D or VFC Umarex 417D?

I owned and used a VFC 417D (recently swapped), and i currently own a VFC 416D The main points about the 417D are; + It looks amazing, and is really well put together, VFC have done an outstanding job with it. if all you want is a great looking gun, that will turn heads the 417D is for you...

    G&G GR14 HBA L (EBR)

You are correct, it's not comfortable, and no you can't get the correct eye relief, but that was as far back as I could get the scope, I bought a an M14 scope rail, which is something you absolutely need to do if you want a scope on an M14, but is was too long and interfered with the top rail...

    G&G GR14 HBA L (EBR)

The wooden "veteran" version comes pre upgraded with a stronger main spring, it's supposed to fire hotter than the regular top tech, 390 FPS sounds right. it's a shame the EBR version just gets the standard internals, because it screams DMR when you look at it. I got my filthy paws on a SOCOM...

I have had this gun for 6 months now, so it's fair to say I know a bit about the pitfalls of ownership. I am not going to start on about the real steel history, because its not that type of review and we all know how to use google. What I am going to do is give you an honest opinion on the up...

Rare guns you've seen or would like to see

H&K G11, this is a gun that uses caseless ammo just like the LSAT, and is in no way special as previously stated, if it was an AEG with or without the 3 round burst i'd buy it tomorrow.

Rare guns you've seen or would like to see

The AN-94, when i first got into airsoft i looked all over for one of these, i was dismayed to find you couldn't.

The Denel NTW-20, for those of us that are definitely not compensating for anything. i can imagine rocking up to a skirmish day with one of these.

what film/comic book/sci-fi gun do you want to see in airsoft

without further ado; The covenant plasma rifle from halo, or the type-51 "covenant carbine". I loved the look of all the Alien weaponry in Halo, but both of these might actually lend themselves to being made into AEGs. So apparently you can actually buy a replica plasma rifle. That gets me...

what film/comic book/sci-fi gun do you want to see in airsoft

Good point, I almost did this earlier, but I couldn't decide if it should go in games or not. I guess hats as good a place as any.

what film/comic book/sci-fi gun do you want to see in airsoft

Pulse carbine would probably be easier to do, but yes Tau were\are over powered. I Called 2 land raiders cheesemongery, but i regularly rocked 9 broadside suits... the irony.

what film/comic book/sci-fi gun do you want to see in airsoft

The forge world ones are amazing, as with everything from forge world. Before i discovered Airsoft was my main money pit it was miniatures. I dread to think how much i spent over the last 10 years. Oh well, its probably cheaper than drinking\smoking, of which i do neither.

what film/comic book/sci-fi gun do you want to see in airsoft

I too have 9 of them, and I only use 2 at a time now. I was slightly upset when the new codex appeared, because there is no surefire way to troll the "cheesemongers" at my club who always roll out 2 land raiders in every game, however i discovered fusion blasters work just as well, so all is...

What do you want your gun to do? how did you do it?

So I fitted my parts for my otherwise standard VFC HK 417d and tested it to see the results. with the standard parts it was firing at 340 fps +/- 5 fps with .2s, I could hit things out at 30 - 40 metres, but any further I had to lob BBs at it. The barrel seemed to bump the fps up 355 with is...

What do you want your gun to do? how did you do it?

Most avid "gun collectors" probably spend that on RIFs in one year, my oldest Gun is from Feburary and I bought them new. If I calculated the total amount I spent on guns I'd probably shock myself. Yet I balked at the cost of a systema bucking to the extent I deliberated over it for half an...

What do you want your gun to do? how did you do it?

To be honest if I spent that amount on an airsoft rifle I'd expect it to be very, very accurate. Yes you can hit things at 50m with an average gun, but never with any consistancy. And that's what I am talking about when I say effective range. So £1800 superguns aside I,d say 30 - 40m is the...
