There's a shop near me that sells springs of pretty much every size and strength so i was planning on removing the spring from the gun to take it that shop and find a weaker one of the same length.

I'll start by saying that this isn't from firsthand experience, this is from a friend who has one. On the plus side, it's fairly gas efficient, at least on semi, it's also pretty light weight and both the pistol grip and foregrip feel solid enough. It wasn't used that much but it still worked...

While it's more of a temporary fix, I've wrapped rubber seals in electrical tape before which held up fairly well.

Funnily enough, a lighter trigger pull was another goal of this project. As for the length, I'll probably shorten it to be slightly longer then the standard pistol version. Can't be certain till i have it back but it's definitely going to be a lot shorter.

The carbine version is what i'm starting with as well. I'll have it back this weekend (left it at my dad's place before the lockdown hit) so i can check the barrel then and I'll see what I can do about that spring.  The overall goal is to get the FPS below 350 if possible so I can use it at my...

I have a friend who can make a new spring if it goes wrong, so i'll be sure to give that a try. Fortunately part of the design for this project involves shortening the barrel so I need to get a new inner barrel for it either way.  Thanks for the advice, you've been a great help.

to back up what CrackCommando said, the first gun i painted, i used a clear coat afterwards and that paint has lasted way longer then anything i've painted without it.

bearing in mind i play indoors mostly, probably mid range pistol accuracy and sluggish reactions.

Hello. I need to reduce the fps on my HG-196 Mauser for a project. Don't suppose anyone knows of an adjustable valve that will fit it or of any other ways i can reduce it's power.

Just thought i'd pop in, i have a g&g l85 and i can confirm it does not have an adjuster. Also for the blowback, check the spring located above the barrel, something could be jamming it.

It will increase the FPS of the gun if you use co2. I'm pretty sure you can make the gun more efficient and there are posts about it but the only tip I can think of right now is to try and keep the magazine and gun warm.

I think this may be a WE 1911. KWC usally have Cal. 6 MM written on the frame. Also WE 1911's have that screw on the bottom of the hop up unit that holds a piece of metal on the other side of the unit. Could be wrong but that's what I think it is, hope this helps. (for clarification, the screw...
