    The TM AKM thread

I’m not a brand snob, all I want is a GBBR AK with reasonably priced reasonably easy to get hold of mags. At the moment neither GHK or Marui are able to manage this so I’ll stick to my MWS M4.

    WE Apache (MP5) front rail

As per the description, anyone aware of a front rail for a WE Apache Mp5 GBBR that will fit without any modification, or if I must minor mods to the rail, but none to the gun. I am aware of a number of rails that are compatible with the Marui AEG Mp5, but I have no idea if these will work with...

Yes this is absolutely normal after enough rounds. red gas will just speed up the process.

Best 416 RIF out there - People's opinions

Either this or a Marui MWS in a 416 conversion kit (https://www.haoptwart.com/product-page/hao-s-416-cag-conversion-kit-for-marui-mws) Both will set you back about £1500, but are probably the best you can get from either a gas or AEG platform. Otherwise the Marui 416 NGRS is a good platform...

The 'What have you just bought' Thread

Just picked up this little beauty (WE GBBR) that I can run as a Mp5k or Mp5 PDW. This now means I can run every MP5 variant as a WE GBBR….

Does the stock fitment mean that folding stocks will also require a new lower receiver? If that is the case it seems remarkably short sighted…

    THE TM MWS thread

I normally carry anywhere between 5 (3 in the plate, 1 on a belt and 1 in the gun) all the way up to 17 (8 on PC, 2 on belt, one in gun and 6 in an assault pack) depending on what I am doing. I do lean towards the lower end of the scale most of the time with 7 being the norm. I don't think I...

Oops, you just reminded me I have another 8 mags in a PC that I used at the last skirmish that I had forgotten about. ?‍♂️?‍♂️?‍♂️

    THE TM MWS thread

I try not to think about it…. In fairness I only bought one set of mags when I bought my first new MWS. The others came as part of used packages when I bought my other MWS. My main reason for keeping them is I figure If I ever sell up I’ll get more for each MWS if it comes with a usable amount...

Best GBB realistic metal pistol to use stock

I briefly owned the v1 version of the WE Beretta and quite frankly it was terrible. The hop design was truly awful, definitely don’t buy one of those. I don’t have any hands on experience with the current v2 version (which was why I didn’t comment) but looking at the exploded digram it uses a...

Best GBB realistic metal pistol to use stock

My thoughts (and I have plenty of these guns to hand for first hand experience). If you are relatively new to skirmishing and that is going to be the main use for the pistol (as a secondary) then I always recommend the WE Glock 17 or 19x At £99 a pop from plenty of places you can get 2 for the...

    Form or Function

Not sure I fit into either category. If I had to pigeon hole myself with a catch phrase it would probably be “skills over kills”. I get way more satisfaction from a perfectly executed mag change or a slick weapon transition than racking up a massive body count, which probably explains why I only...

    80's 90's dump poutch?

True, the Lee Enfield 303 (British Number 4 rifle) had a magazine that was intended to be fixed in normal use and ammunition was loaded through the breach on stripper clips with the feed for the stripper built into the receiver, but that was a design choice that was common at the time and the...

    80's 90's dump poutch?

Let's just say if your CQMS is good at his job he will be owed enough favours that he will rarely be buying his own drinks. Definitely a case of looking after the troops and they will look after you. Originally the idea was that magazines would be shipped preloaded and disposed off after use...

    80's 90's dump poutch?

I missed 58 pattern webbing by a long margin, but on my combat infantryman course, down the front of the smock was the SOP taught as part of the training. While not as much as a ball ache as 58 pat it was still much quicker than getting mags back in a PLC pouch. No idea what the actual training...

Jw3 Combat Master Aa R601 Holster

The Warrior universal holster is excellent. I have 2 and they have been flawless. I have even modified one carefully removing the fabric molle attachment and screwing on a safariland QLS fork, which has worked brilliantly and means I can move it across rigs and attach it to a safari land low...

    THE TM MWS thread

How new is the mag? I find the MWS mags all start off a bit stiff at first when speed loading.   The extra mechanical advantage of the loading rod really helps for new mags.
