The 'How Did Your Airsoft Day Go? Thread

So Camelot was certainly ‘a thing’. The first hour or so of Saturday was great, the rest of the day was… pretty shite. The age old story of too many players and a grinding stalemate that resulted in nothing much happening… for a further 2 hours. And the reward for that in the afternoon? A...

Having just watched a video on YouTube from someone who has recently had a mooch around the site it's definitely more concrete playground than it is much ressembling a theme park anymore... but should be a laugh nevertheless.

It doesn’t really affect me because I have a pop up that doesn’t really need pegs. Very much a case of ‘is what it is’, from what I can gather any open ground on the site is concrete so there isn’t a huge amount that could be done to avoid it.

@Cr0-Magnon It's the Warzone folks if memory serves. It's not somewhere I went while it was open and truthfully it doesn't look like a huge amount of it's left... but a new playground is a new playground. @JustMark It's in Chorley, tickets went up in January I believe. Sold out extremely...

Off back up North for the weekend at Camelot this coming weekend, excited to tick 'play at derelict theme park' off the airsoft bingo card. Not one I suspected I ever would!

    Gun picture thread

Bit of a tinker to get the selector plate to play ball, and lower the power but I got there in the end. Entirely shagged paintjob as is customary for me at this point, absolutely smitten by this lump. Have different red dot mount en route because I'm not a fan of the standard Vortex lower 1/3rd...

    Load-Out / Loadout Picture topic

Swapped out some bits on the AirLite so I can run AR or 5.45 mags on it without having to change anything out. The regular AVS 5.56 placard swapped for the stretch one, and the tall Esstac KYWI that would normal sit opposite the GP pouch for a Spiritus SPUD (which I’d been struggling to find a...

    Evri is unreliable

Not really sure what you’re shooting for here? You sent something incorrectly and got charged for doing so, as is outlined in their terms and conditions. I’m all for railing on companies short comings but this seems entirely fine. When you tick that box that says you agree to the terms and...

    hpa aeg or gbbr

You kind of just repeated what you’ve said initially in an abridged form ?. What I’m saying is you need to narrow down from there what it is you actually want. If more realism is top of the list then that rules out HPA and AEGs (though may add an NGRS on there if that’s something that would...

    hpa aeg or gbbr

I generally land on AEGs still being the king when it comes to actually playing games. For the most part performance is neither here nor there across the different methods of propulsion, but AEGs provide so many convenience benefits. Cheap easy to obtain mags, get a few decent batteries that fit...

    brands to avoid

From what I understand it's largely down to things they say being vague/intelligently enough to give the impression it's produced in the UK, when in reality (at least as I understand it from leaked documentation) a decent portion is produced in China. Albeit with decent quality materials...

    Evri is unreliable

While I agree in general that they aren't the best, by sending a RIF using them you're sending an item which is on their prohibited items list. If you're sending things using couriers educate yourself on what you can and can't send then you're ultimately responsible for what happens to the items...

    Provenance in pictures ?

As someone that used the classifieds a lot I wouldn't personally think it's necessary to be mandatory at all, as mentioned throughout the thread it's commonly known that the safest way to protect yourself is how you pay. Ranging from bank transfer/PayPal F&F through to PayPal G&S and/or...

    MWS M4a1 with m16 kit - 7 magazines

As mentioned above I'd be inclined to split it out personally. List the MWS itself with a single fully working mag in the £400 region (I'd be inclined to sling in the currently non-functioning mag as a freebie). For the fully functional mags I'd be looking in the region of £40 a pop, but I'd...

The 'What have you just bought' Thread

Fortunately you save on the burden of having to buy mags which is a sizeable saving but it might be worth exploring building a second upper over a fresh build. As mentioned numerous times across a variety of threads, finances are a very individual thing. Could I afford to have the MWS in full N4...

The 'What have you just bought' Thread

Seemingly old habits die hard, and as much as I liked the look of the N4 MWS build it was; A) Shorter handguard than I like. B) A lot more cash tied up in what’s meant to be a ‘back up’ of sorts. So I’ve reverted back to the 11.5” URGI, but did pick up a new stock, stock riser and red dot. The...

    brands to avoid

Main one I’d be avoiding from new at the moment is GHK AKs (2018 and older is the generally accepted ‘probably ok’ date if memory serves), ohh boy what a shit show. Talk about a fall from grace.
