I looked at the DPM stuff. So it would be wise to grab a jacket anyway and treat it. I've used the nikwax stuff on my old snowboarding gear and I think I've still got some lurking around the house.

Thanks for those links. Is it just a shirt and pants I need or a jacket and pants? The jackets look like they might get a bit warm.

I've looked at the G&G Combat Machines and the UMP that G&G make is looking to be my choice but I will try and hold one first. Would you recommend a brand for the mesh mask or will any do?

Yeah I'm trying to hunt down a retailer near me but it might be a road trip involved.

Well I like the UMP and the MP5 and I've found a Tokyo Marui MP5(A5) so it's between those two really. The Tokyo Marui is a bit cheaper so that may swing it for me to be honest.

So overall a better gun than a Combat Machine? I'm reading in to Mesh glasses or plastic glasses and it seems to be that Mesh is recommended to start with as the glasses can steam up quite a bit. Can you guys recommend any Mesh glasses brands/ models? Same for face guards, is neoprene good or...

I've found a G & G UMP but it's down as GT Advanced and not a Combat Machine. Is there a big difference?

That helped a lot. With regards to the 4 main rifles beginners start with. Is it best for me to buy one of those or can I go for something else like a UMP? That's one of my favourite guns.

I didn't know about the BB guns or Less sites but I'll avoid them. Sounds quite tacky to be honest.

Hi Guys, I'm new to the forums. After playing Battlefield for a couple of years I've started to get the itch to go and try airsoft. I've got a few questions so you'll probably see me in various threads on the forum.
