That sounds really fair imo, much better than paying £70+ for one from Europe or the US. If you ever open an online store to sell popular ones you can batch make at home, consider making mag pouch inserts (singe and perhaps triples similar the GMR one but not overpriced), maybe even grenade...

I would disagree, I have both an FMA and an Element PEQ at home, both torches are good, very bright (slightly brighter than my element scout light), however with less throw. Perfect for CQB with it's wide spread.

Would the heat of the Oven/heat gun not disfigure plastic parts, rubber o-rings or buckings?

As with all AEG m4 style guns, the barrels all have 14mm threaded ends. The firehawk's amplifier is arguably ineffective (only just), the noise is actually due to the short barrel and over volumed cylinder. You can take off the duck billed amplifier easily, there is a small allen key screw...

That all sounds good till you realise that's 83-84,000 canisters...  :lol: Suppose after a few months of heavy Co2 use you could make a few bucks back.

I was under the impression that an empty metal canister could be recycled, then again some sites put them in general waste bins... The Depot (Glasgow) have started to collect them and use them to weigh down props for the "Must have 2 people lift" - in theory so it really does need two people to...

If you're looking for advice I wouldn't take much to be honest other than it will be a 90% show piece in hand or on your vest. It's cheap enough to screw around with anyway :)

I have one, have it on me sometimes as a piece, only ever had 1 kill with it though. The site I play at now though had a problem with people using larger coldsteel ones so I cannot use mine anymore (I have a coldsteel M9 bayonet, site rules : "blade must bend to hilt" It's cool, it's a show...

Agreed, however I have had good results with my AEG, but only after heavy modding to the gearbox. The suppressor helps muffle your noise at long range and may a more *thump* noise. However at close range the gearbox is far more prominent, I use a 280fps gun so the bang is not "too" loud, much...

The idea of different gasses an accuracy is somewhat true, but not how you may think. Green gas freezes up in cold weather and becomes less powerful, near the end of mags shots can be less powerful if spammed and the gas cooled. Co2 has a smilar problem but only "just" as it survives cold far...

I use the Viper trousers, the 38" waist (can be easily tightened to 34-35) are longer than the 36" waist. Not long enough for me 6'8" - but I took them down about 2" and re-sewed, fit really well now! :)

Hey all, My shooting buddy picked up some 9x19 (Luger I think) blanks as he thought I used them in my VTG, is there any Airsoft BFG that actually takes these or am I better just handing them back rather than selling them on? side not: selling 50x Fiocci 9x19 Luger blanks  Thanks! Corky
