KC02 in a muzzelite stock. The red dot is temporary, it'll have something much more 80s/90s action movie on it, it'll have a MFG tracer on it and also probably a .223 lookalike mag housing. But, it might be a bullpup @Asomodaidoesn't own.

Airsoft Direct have just got theirs in.  The marui "no mags and we won't make more for months" thing is a genuine pisstake.

I've had a few GBBRs and realistically, the KJW KC02 (or ASG Special teams carbine) is hard to beat. I run mine at 0.9 joules for cqb. Theres so much you can do with one, the performance is excellent, mags are well priced.

Just gonna throw a wilcard in this, have owned both, and also recently a Modify PP2000.  I preferred the PP2000. The ergonomics are fantastic, it shot better than the mp9 at long ranges and almost as well as the MP7 if not on par, it was snappier in CQB too. Within site limits out of the box...

Out the box... I should add. I traded it yesterday for KC02 set up. Someone apparently jumped on my sales post but I never actually saw it. Frankly, the AK is perfectly fine. It has its niggles, such as the wood being plastic, however its biggest issue is Marui not dealing with anyone outside...

They shoot better than a GHK though.

Using gloss mahogany varnish I got the final colour I was after, put a couple of mags through it and its started to split.

Nope.  Instead of the wood sliding into the gun the gun slides into the stock. This is the one part that I really don't understand about this gun and I think marui were being obtuse.

Ive no idea which brand GP25 it is but it fits properly.

I'm actually quite impressed with mine, I wanted to dislike it, ended up buying one.  My hop rubber was greasy.  It's not blued but most russian AKM variants aren't. I'm fitting a GP25 later so I'll see how that goes, and it needs some actual tree fitting to it, but the faux wood is not bad...

These have a quick change spring. Takes a few seconds.

I have an excellent condition WE m16a1 that will need a new home shortly. 

I shot a proper HK53a2 at Bisley. Full fat select fire one while manning a charity shooting tent for the REME. Shot a lot of stuff and that's right up there as a favourite.
