VN loadout means the 1911 in a leather flap holster on the right hip. Otherwise it's the Beretta in a Fobus holster on the right hip, and the 1911 in another Fobus in the small of my back. I quite like Fobus, in case you hadn't realised...

A box of King Arms mid-cap M16 VN magazines. I'm hoping they need breaking in, because the fit with my G&P M16 is a bit iffy at the moment...

I run a G&P M16A1 and really rate it. If you want an early model (VN or A1), you'll have to hunt around a bit as there's not a lot of stock. Is there a particular reason you want an M4 or M16?

Being an old fart has its benefits. I have a choice of 4 cars when I want to go airsofting, but always seem to gravitate toward my old Jeep for some reason :-)

Full-on VN tropical kit, with full webbing, M1 helmet and all the magazines you can carry. Finish the day with authentic sweat stains! It's all about the look... ;-)

Can highly recommend the Fobus kit. I have one for my 1911 one for my M9 and they're both as secure as a very secure thing. VERY tight when they're new, so just the excuse you need to wear it around the house in order to break it in. A little spray of silicone helps too.

It depend on whatever my ghillie chooses on the day...
