Bang it in the shower or bath for a quick dip with some washing powder, then leave it to drip dry over the bath.

    Opinions on Bipod Foregrips?

Getting hold of a real one will make a huge difference.  The airsoft versions feel nothing like as solid as a real one. That said, I'm still not a fan for most builds, just a little bit bulky for me.

What have you just 3d printed (for airsoft)

VSR G Spec stock  This was mk1, didn't survive being cocked unfortunately, mk2 in ABS coming shortly after some tweaks.

    PTW charging handles

Thanks for that, I don't mind some modifications as there's so much more choice t than going for ptw parts.

    PTW charging handles

Does anyone know if any of the more prolific types of charging handle fit or can be made to fit a PTW? Thinking either the MWS type or WE type?

    Wolf Armouries selling up?

I ordered something from their sale late weds night, it's arrived this morning.  I used to think of them as expensive and having poor delivery times, they just beat every other reputable uk retailer by a good 24 hrs in my experience.

The "Share A Bargain" Thread Discussion section Only

I use a safariland SLS holster for 226 with taclight on a duty ride belt platform. They're very expensive but occasionally come up on ebay etc second hand. Last for years though so a good investment. I've always found "airsoft" holsters to lack in durability and feel a little less secure. ...

Got mine, in good nick, lens needs a clean but nothing a bit of break free won't shift. Bargain of the year so far.

    VFC HK417 GBBR - DMR

Above option is the best if you can order the part.  Also achievable by filing 08-20  I would caution though that parts like these are not designed to function with material removed, and I doubt that they have been case hardened or similar as they would be in a real one. So a real risk of...

    VFC HK417 GBBR - DMR

Yeah looks like filing would work.  If you could find an exploded diagram we might be able to work it out from that

    VFC HK417 GBBR - DMR

If you are looking for a permanent mod then it should just be as simple as filing down a sear. Not seen inside one but they usually work on a very similar principle to real ones in that regard.  Take off the lower and snap some photos and we might be able to tell.

What's reasonable in the Ghillie/Leaf suit world?

Unfortunately the off the shelf solutions will never be as good as something made to suit the environment you find yourself in.  The key is to use a base suited to the season and then add natural vegetation.  Mine is built off the webtex jacket/cape base which has plenty of loops for natural...

Help! Decent OD Plate Carriers / Armour for our team

The Bulle gear from flecktarn is great, but they don't seem to have a plate carrier option currently. https://www.flecktarn.co.uk/solidcolours_olive.html If you want something "uniform" for you all then China might be the way to go.  If you just want the same colours then I'd watch out for...

Whats the general rule of thumb when it comes to fps/J?

328 fps on a .2 (1j) should allow you to play at most UK sites.

    Hearing Protection Recommendations

Surefire ep4 ear plugs will do the job if you're on a budget. If you're serious about your hearing then get some Peltor xpi's, expensive but very effective. Try borrowing a pair from someone first and you'll know which way to go.
