What Camo gear is everyone wearing

I'm quite liking the set of Russian Digi-Flora I recently received from Grey Shop. It seems to work quite well in the UK since it's quite a dark pattern

    Co2 vs Green Gas?

You can get refillable CO2 canisters which can be filled with purely green gas or a mix of green and CO2. They cost about £20 each IIRC, and you'd need a few- you might recoup the cost of CO2 cartridges in the long term, but in the short term it would be far more expensive than a normal GBB...

    Co2 vs Green Gas?

Also, green gas = propane with a very small added percentage of silicone oil. Before now, people in the safe zone have told me that propane will 'break' guns even though it's just GG without the oil.

    Beginner!

TM Recoils can be considered the best AEG range on the market. If you truly want EBB, go for those. If EBB isn't worth a £400-500 gun to you, but a normal G&G or ICS gun

Doesn't really need maintenance like a GBBR, however with more moving parts there's more to go wrong. Not worth getting anything EBB unless it's a TM Recoil.

    Socks just for Airsoft? Y/N

Getting them replaced for free when they wear out > 5p cost. Dunno about other supermarkets but Sainsbury's exchange them.

    Socks just for Airsoft? Y/N

Long boot socks. Don't wear Nylon socks, whatever you do- if you walk/run much in them you'll get terrible blisters

    advice on my first gun

There is no MED for pistols at all. The only weapon platforms which have MEDs are sniper rifles and DMRs, as explained above. There's a reason why it's not recommended for newbies to buy sniper rifles- if you're comfortable with spending £££s and many hours tinkering and tweaking a sniper...

    advice on my first gun

Hi there, welcome to the forum & sport! It's a UKARA Defence, not a license. You don't buy it, you play a game day at a single site 3 times in no less than 2 months to be eligible for a UKARA Defence. After registering, you will be put onto the database and be given a unique number which...

    Beginner!

Standard BBs are 6mm in diameter, the main variable is their weight. This can be anything between 0.20g to 0.40g and above. In normal AEGs, 0.25g BBs are brilliant. The advantage heavier BBs bring is the amount of kinetic energy they can hold. While this means that the gun's projectile...

    What gun is this?

Looks like a Magpul Masada style rifle. As several manufacturers make their own versions (including A&K, PTS and WE) I don't think it's possible to identify the manufacturer from a photo.

    Under 18

Bring an older mate/parent along with you to games- chances are they'll get hooked, get their UKARA defence and you'll be able to 'buy' a gun through them. I say buy in loose terms as it has to be a gift, but you may be able to come to some unofficial arrangement with them. Alternatively you...

Indeed you should buy an electric gun. This is a UK based forum, so any retailers that we mention should ship to you as well. Have a look in the 'Places to Buy' subforum and post a thread there asking about a retailer if you can't find one on them already. The best retailer for a gun on a...

A few steps to buying your first gun: Choose a few guns you like the look of If you see anyone with one of those guns at a skirmish, ask them if you can handle or have a go with it. Most people will be more than happy to show their weapons off. After deciding on a type of gun you want, look...

If you have never played before, I would suggest going to a game and renting a gun & kit for a day. Reason being you don't have to spend hundreds on your own gun and gear just to find that you don't like it.

    hi from watford

Some websites specialise in a certain manufacturer or area of airsoft- www.firesupport.co.uk sell mainly guns and parts for them- the main brands of gun they sell are G&G and ICS www.proairsoftsupplies.co.uk sell guns and a moderate amount of equipment. Again, they mainly sell G&G guns...
