It's specifically the A-TACS boot I'm interested in but I suppose I could at least get an idea of the size required. The only place I saw the A-TACS boot for sale in the UK was in the Grange store but that was the hot climate boot (non-waterproof) and was only in size 7 1/2. I haven't seen it...

As you've suggested, TacMaster, I expect to have to make some major modifications. The bars will definitely have to run out the outside of the body, as there simply isn't enough room within the G36 body. That's where I would expect the first modification to take place, as I can't imagine that...

I want to make this! Now, I appreciate that, if it is at all possible, then it will not look identical. I suspect that the retractable stock wouldn't actually be able to go within the receiver and would, instead, have to go on the outside. But, I'm going to look into it!

Just to clarify, you can't pull the trigger at all (in semi) when this happens? If that's the case, perhaps it is actually in safe? I had a similar issue with my G36. Turned out the selector switch was intereferring with the control plate. I identified it by just nudging the selector switch...

When the gearbox "locks up" what happens when you pull on the trigger, in semi? What noises, if any, do you hear (including those from the trigger mechanism)? Does it sound like everything is working correctly, apart from the fact that the motor isn't running?

Tariq. Apparently, the TM MP7 comes with a thread adapter. I appreciate I didn't mention that in my last post. But, am I mistaken?
