Im with @Cr0-Magnon here, unless you are sponsored or paid to play as a full time airsofter its not a profession, the definitions make sense but being a decent footballer doesnt make you a professional, playing for a team full time does. All non league players have a 'profession' outside of football and want to become a professional baller so its a bit ambiguous. 

Airsoft youtubers are that, they are professional youtubers/content makers not professional players, hell most players would argue the top youtubers dont really play in the spirit thats intended with the game but thats a whole different convo lol.

I would be interested to hear what 1st commando does/did. I get being involved in airsoft could be a profession but again being a professional airsoft "player", nah... unless someone can convince me otherwise.

I would like to try some more themed events, but regular skirmishes at the right place are ok.

I think some of the frustrations are the varying rules and levels of cockwomblery by players at different sites. There are certainly a few I would rather play at regularly due to decent rules, marshals who are visible and vocal and some I would happily not return to.

I think I just need to play at the ones I know I like for a bit now and stop the travelling. That being said I will likely be unable to play lots over the coming months due to family and work commitments so slowing down might not be a bad thing

I was thinking about this last night yesterdays enemy team clearly had god mode activated and was noticed by a large percentage of our team , unny there was little to no moaning about our team in the safe zone though.

And as someone who plays at different sites I also notice the differences between places. Yesterday I got HOSED from really close range, which is within the rules of the site, but wouldnt be allowed in other sites I have played in due to MED for full auto or rules which state no full auto into or out from a structure (which makes sense). Also had a lot of over kill and a hell of a lot of bleeders from yesterdays game, which I dont tend to get in sites with Chrono rules. this place had no chrono and we saw no chrono out in the field with a marshal either.

Agreed with what you say though, people are over excited to be back out and are taking liberties they wouldnt normally take it seems. Hopefully it does settle down but also depends on the site management. I can see some sites being more on it than others tbh.

If he doesnt send some money to get it fixed, then tell him he has to pay for return postage as you do not want it and send it back. Send him vids of it not working and be polite throughout though, he does have your name and address after all

Not much you can do really. Swaps are THE most risky way of dealing with people. At least with a sale through paypal you have some protection. With a swap there is none if the other guy decides to ghost you.

Did you get a video of it working before the deal? Is the other person open to discussing the issue?

Sold out in a few hours, annoyed I paid more than retail for one, but my ukara has run out so not too bad. 

Having played there and had that guy as a marshal I am unsurprised. The game I played was chaotic as hell with no one really knowing what they were supposed to be doing, different answers to the same questions given to different players etc. 

Marshal was totally in the wrong for grabbing the camera, both were taking fire (say a lot about a site when players talking to marshals get shot at too) and if grabbing the camera had taken down face/eye pro could have ended badly. Would have ended badly if a marshal made a grab like that on me thats for sure.

However, yes player was being a dick for shooting from the spawn and moaning hes getting shot. Dont shoot out or in a spawn, yeah the enemy shouldnt have been shooting him, but then he was engaging back and could have ran to other cover, ducked out etc.

Also the video cuts in strange ways to show what the player wants us to see. The chronoing a gun after he says he wants to go home is VERY strange, and I wouldnt have let him chrono my gun if I was leaving.

A fair few things dont add up here and both are to blame imo (not excusing the marshal though, I didnt take to him when I met him)

I treat woodland a lot like cqb though. I find coming from a cqb background you have a few skills woodland players do not have, it was always evident when a woodland squad rocked up at the mall for instance. 

I still rush, push forward and play a sneaky style in woodland much like I did at cqb. It doesnt always work granted, but players can be surprised by a lone guy rushing forward when they were not expecting it.
