Aha, just adds to the fun factor really :L

  2. Well so far my initial loadout idea involved more stuff like this: http://www.military1st.co.uk/tt148t-pro-force-triple-m4m16-magazine-pouch-molle-coyote.html http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mil-Tec-Double-Pistol-Magazine-Coyote/dp/B007HDPQDO/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1419889648&sr=8-3&keywords=Coyote+pistol+mag+pouch#customerReviews http://www.amazon.co.uk/MFH-TACTICAL-DROP-HOLSTER-COYOTE/dp/B008AUM8QG/ref=sr_1_1?s=sports&ie=UTF8&qid=1425903727&sr=1-1&keywords=coyote+drop+leg+pistol http://www.uktactical.com/p-5588-warrior-m60minimim249-saw-pouch-coyote-tan.aspx http://www.amazon.co.uk/Karrimor-Predator-Coyote-Utility-Pouch/dp/B00N3502L6/ref=sr_1_15?s=sports&ie=UTF8&qid=1425904331&sr=1-15&keywords=utility+pouch http://www.amazon.co.uk/Military-Foliage-Goggles-Shooting-Paintball/dp/B00KW5HOCK/ref=sr_1_51?s=sports&ie=UTF8&qid=1425904663&sr=1-51&keywords=emerson+fast+helmet I'm already covered in terms of face protection and have a dump pouch, but im abit of a ammo nut, so unless my bro runs out on the field, it's all mine
  3. Currently recovering from yesterdays game; 2nd game at fireball, but first game using my newly purchased A&K M249 SAW Para. Thing fires like a dream! Anyway, just need a couple ideas of what kind of loadout i should build based around being the support role within my squad. Already have a MOLLE vest (Flyye Spartan Vest - http://royaltigergear.com/images/cor_vest_span.jpg) I'm just stuck as to what pouches are necessary in terms of being a well rounded supporter within the atypical woodland setting; like hell am i going CQB with that!
  4. Either or brand will suit me, as long as it works and is FPS limited; the new bolt is my guns LAST chance to buck up before i stay away from VFC related gas guns, which will suck considering our retailer gave us a small discount for being regulars. Then again, I dont think anyone is looking for a VFC model; ahwell, noobs intuition!
  5. *Bump* Either we put the NPAS kit in wrong, or we got conned; cost me the recoil spring to get it in, just to find out it doesnt fit perfectly and puts the FPS down to 182 and doesnt push the bolt all the way back, even then, you'd think a spring change would be easy....NOWHERE stocks the necessary spring! Looks like £40 for a complete bolt shipped overseas just to back back to the possible 400 FPS mark -.- all else fails ill swap it out for a KWA MP7

    UKARA Mystery

The long and short of UKARA is this: Not only does it prove your defence and gives retailers the necessity to sell RIF's, but it also stops idiotic 13-15 year olds getting their hands on toy guns to the point a SWAT team needs to be called to a shopping centre. Though i have heard more negatives than positives: A good retailer of ours WOULD apply for a UKARA/VCRA license, but says it costs £200 a month just to keep it updated and legalised in order sell them. Luckily their relative has a high ranking job with Armex, so we get our gear on a small discount and without the shoddy two-tone. That being said, UKARA simply over-defines the difference between the gun toting children, maniacs and idiots who think it's okay to walk around with a holstered pistol, with real players of airsoft. Personally, I don't have a UKARA and don't see much point of owning one, but will get one for the sake of it just to make my online purchases easier, wherever necessary. TLDR: UKARA is the fineline between an airsofter and the possibility of a psychopath.
  7. Had a recent woodland match whereupon our gas guns didn't do sh*t, so should be buying my friends custom electric M249 SAW Para and CAA sportsline M4 for £250 within the week
  8. Essentially the morning after, and boy was it a blast numbers went up in the 60+, was hard to navigate at first and got lost a number of times and got seperated from my team, but other than that, made some new friends, know the site and map off by heart and know for a FACT that electric guns are a MUST; mp7 was shooting at a 175 on both propane and indoor gas, and my G18c didnt hold gas very long. Regardless, first round lasted til 12, with about 35 of us hiking it up to Changi prison (See map) and then sneaking it down to border, with my mp7 out of commission, i borrowed my friends electric M14; didn't kill a single kill with it as im not accustomed to a long range role (and it occasionally didn't shoot, so i was pretty useless other than laying a supressive fire on the enemy time. which, by the way, snuck up behind us and took control of the border. eventually it ended up with about 10 of us holed up in block house, surrounded by reds nearly empty on all forms of ammo. we survived, but i thing reds won the round. second round came along, and i borrowed another friends springer shotgun. Now this thing was a beast, though the cocking mechanism was tough to pull back, but had about as much range as the m14, and scored 5 kills over the course of the game, which essentially turned into a clusterfuck and half the team was missing, soon enough, the majority of the team regrouped outside the safe zone whilst the rest held batt house. circled around to area 51, cleared out a few reds and pushed through the woods to the point that reds were now flanked on both sides. Overall, we won the game, i took a shot to the face (yay) and because my friend shot me in the back of the head, i've earned the new nickname Leadhead Might be buying my friend's electric M4 and M249 para for March's game
  9. So, as of tomorrow 9:00, I'll be heading up to the Fireball Squadron site, making it my first official woodland skirmish; My first CQB was a little tame considering it was ~15 people, but regardless...... 70-100 people average 9:00 - 4:00 What can I expect in terms of quality overall, and is there anything ultimately needed? Slightly intimidated by the large numbers, and recently bounced up to 3 MP7 gas magazines (40 rounds each) but still feel that won't be enough :L
  10. My first ever airsoft gun; and a GBB one at that
  11. After an extended research of my gun, which took near enough forever to find the right information, the bolt inside the Umarex/VFC MP7 is completely different compared to KWA. Knowing this, I'm a little more befuddled about what I can do to lower the FPS from 400+ to a CQB safe level of ~350. And considering i'm still abit newish with the internal modification side of guns, I'd like to know what would work best with the internals of my gun. At this point, i'm not even sure if the CQB KWA bolt would fit the VFC system. VFC BoltKWA Bolt Granted at this point, KWA aftermarket internals should be nulled at this point, but various sources say that "Oh yeah, this is compatible with VFC" and others say the opposite. That being said, I have a few products that i'm unsure about if they'll fit the VFC system: http://www.wgcshop.com/wgc2008/main/product_detail1.php?search_From=searchItem&item=AZI-VGBB-RFCB&search=searchItem&rs=azimuth&catid=&cat=&view_choice=a http://www2.wgcshop.com/wgc2008/main/product_detail1.php?search=special&rs=Azimuth&item=AZI-PT-SAHV http://en.ratech.com.tw/english/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=309:rag-ksc-004&catid=45&Itemid=159 http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=8933
  12. Fireball Squadron on the 10th; Time to test out my MP7 :D Hopefully it's nowhere near 400FPS or i'm gonna cry >.

My only worry is attempting to open the bolt and put in a flute valve, but the internals might not be compatible with the KWA products

  13. Recently bought a Flyye Spartan vest for £40; apparently online their worth 200-350. bargain of the month, apparently. http://t.co/wriTnyHYm3 (Damn Url's -.-)
  14. Quick question; Can the ammo pouches hold an KWA/Umarex MP7 40rd magazine? bout 8 inches long?
  15. Tempted to get the south african assault vest (SAAV); Any recommendations? plus, need to know if it'll hold MP7 mags, or the magazine if possible :P

    1. TacMaster

      TacMaster

The cheaper SAAVs aren't particularly tough- the original South African M83 vest would be a better buy if you really like the style and can afford it. As for mag compatibility, the vest's mag pouches are designed for 5.56 size Galil mags, so it'll definitely fit magazines the width of an MP7 mag.

    2. RabidNinja64

      RabidNinja64

I'm more concerned about the length/height of MP7 and if they'll fit in the mag pouches :P if they can fit an M4 mag or two, wanna compare it to MP7 mags.

  16. Anyone know of any decent tactical MOLLE vests? looking for something semi-cheap and customizable.

If you can push £30 more, I'd recommend a semapo 6094, real multicam, all that good stuff and with more molle real estate than you could ever wish for

Take a look at the Condor or Flyye ranges on Military 1st.

Some interesting vests, especially the WAS product line & Semapo. Condor look decent, but Flyye seem a little too out of my price range with their Military1st products. Appreciate the help! :)

  17. By disassembly, yes, i removed the bolt but did NOT wipe the grease off it; First time round with lubricating prior to firing was using silicon lubricant (to my knowledge. my older brother did it for me). The magazine itself is as firm as the day i bought it, and the gun has been fired numerous times using the aforementioned gas to the point it was emptied, though i do recall using a seperate gas at some point or another, if that is a possibility of an issue. The multi feed occurs on both semi and full, but even then to the point that a single trigger pull doesnt even shoot a BB, it runs straight back to multi-feeding. If all else fails, ill switch out the gas, get a new magazine. if the problem persists, replace the bolt or get the NPAS kit. Failing that, someones getting an MP9........
  18. Godnoes where to start, but to save time; Yes, it is a phenomenal gun for a discounted First-hand GBB SMG, Yes it does have it's current issues which i'll need some guidance with and Yes I may have a match coming up soon, and my birthday falls on the 24th which also gives me a £50 spending leeway, which is more than likely going to toward attachments and gas for my mp7. Onto the first order of buisness...... Got myself the Navy version; extra rail on the bottom, giving me more customisation ISSUES A few months back I had an issue with my MP7 concerning the bolt release. that has now been fixed, but now more issues have risen. To start, the bolt will occassionally lock back when the charging handle is pulled, and when the release is pressed, the bolt will move half an inch forward and stay there, giving me 5 mins to pull the handle and release until its back to normal. At one point, the bolt was even jammed when i attempted the first pull of the charging handle! As a beginner airsoft, this worries me, but not as much as the next issue. Double feeding and/or not firing. However, Double feeding was a past issue, because now its along the lines of quadruple feeding and puking BB's all over the bolt and chamber. for the technicals, I use 0.20 gram BB's and Green gas(See attachments for specific gas used), have disassembled it ONCE and that's when the problems appeared. Here's the type of green gas that I used prior to the issues, if it helps. My only thoughts on fixing bolt issue is A) Invest in a low-power CQB bolt ASAP. B.)Oil up the bolt linings to ensure it's running smoothly C) Disassemble the gun again and double-check everything's where it should be. As for the quadruple feed; A) Invest in another magazine B.) Assume the magazine spring and/or feeding lip is damaged, creating eiter a bigger feed hole in the mag or is pushing bb's up too fast, and attempt to find a fix for these issues. C.) Bucking has swelled within the gun and needs to be replaced. Hopefully someone can help and is an experienced airsoft engineer Moving onto my favourite topic...... ATTACHMENTS As mentioned above, a low-power bolt is on my priority list, but im unsure where i can buy one as i'd rather not fork out more than £20-25 for one overseas, that's if the rumours of KWA discontinuing the MP7 are true. Even then, I've heard mixed reviews on the NPAS valve kit, so im skeptical on that. Here's my baby in it's glory along with the G18C. Pretty sexy with it's attachments, but i feel that it could do with more. Naturally, im stuck with choosing a specific type of laser, so im tempted to get a green PEQ-15 laser replica; their big but not clunky, remain flat and parallel to the gun and gives me more of a meaner look, in my personal opinion. I'm also thinking of getting a flashlight, possibly a QD suppressor.....or a tank buster barrel, which will need a 16mm to 14mm adapter, to my knowledge. Overall, opinions will be most appreciated, and personal reviews and pictures will be even more TL;DR - Bolt's jamming and double feeding, need fixes. recommended attachments also requested.
  19. I follow the group on facebook, but i've yet to make a detailed inspection into their work on their site; shall take a look! and famous last words?......your probably right :L
  20. Has anyone actually had the time and creativity to build a cover for the Glock? Can't be too hard
  21. Been a good awhile since ive visited the site, even longer going airsoft; Curse you college!

  22. I see; so WE pistols are off the table; past experience with my sig and g18 proved that their magazines arent entirely the best (had to replace the gas valve on a 226 mag).
  23. Been looking for a future replacement sidearm to cover my G18C in the coming months, was stuck between the following: HK PX4, HK USP compact WE Hi-capa dragon 5.1 Hell, even a "special" 1911.....http://www.airsoftworld.net/airsoft-guns/airsoft-pistols/gas-blow-back-gbb/we-1911-engraved-mehico-druglord-gbb-airsoft-pistol.html But, suddenly drawed my eyes across the beauty that is TM's (Or better still, KWC) Desert Eagle. The main feature: Semi & FULL AUTO! *Nerdgasm* Regardless, does anyone have personal views on the sidearm? This regards accuracy, gas efficiency, recoil, price, weight, etc. and the pros and cons of it all.
