  1. I follow the group on facebook, but i've yet to make a detailed inspection into their work on their site; shall take a look! and famous last words?......your probably right :L
  2. Has anyone actually had the time and creativity to build a cover for the Glock? Can't be too hard
  3. Been a good awhile since ive visited the site, even longer going airsoft; Curse you college!

      Welcome back!

  4. I see; so WE pistols are off the table; past experience with my sig and g18 proved that their magazines arent entirely the best (had to replace the gas valve on a 226 mag).
  5. Been looking for a future replacement sidearm to cover my G18C in the coming months, was stuck between the following: HK PX4, HK USP compact WE Hi-capa dragon 5.1 Hell, even a "special" 1911.....http://www.airsoftworld.net/airsoft-guns/airsoft-pistols/gas-blow-back-gbb/we-1911-engraved-mehico-druglord-gbb-airsoft-pistol.html But, suddenly drawed my eyes across the beauty that is TM's (Or better still, KWC) Desert Eagle. The main feature: Semi & FULL AUTO! *Nerdgasm* Regardless, does anyone have personal views on the sidearm? This regards accuracy, gas efficiency, recoil, price, weight, etc. and the pros and cons of it all.
  6. Yeah, my missus' nan told me bout how dark it was when she went hunting the once. Hopefully a 2000LM torch might do the trick
  7. That's a shame. Wouldn't say low numbers counts if you give the ghosts AEG's
  8. It recently came up on my radar and is instantly on my priority list when it comes to airsofting. Can anyone give a quick review of the place? I know its used for ghost hunting and airsoft, but has there also been any situations between the two?
  9. Well body farm was my first game, and it still is essentially due to monetary issues for some time. Quick Note: Entry Fee & Gun Hire £20 EACH, but i do recommend bringing spare cash to be sure. games my team go to are usually on Sundays, but i think they do plan throughout the week and Saturdays are their under 18 events, which are cheaper, so I've read. Anyway, Body farm is a nice quaint CQB site, no more bigger than your typical farm hut, which is actually pretty big considering. one area i should point out, which was being redone when i went, the killhouse, is at the far back end of the area, and is essentially a 2-tier hut with ladders going up to the second level. other than that, the main fighting area is filled with various wood built rooms, boxes (whichever you prefer) facing majority of angles. other than that, 1-2 vehicle wrecks provide ample cover and your ALWAYS on your toes (figuratively) when you turn the next corner. The prepping area, I will say, is okay to say the least. not very spacious, and did get crowded with about 15 people. considering that, they also have a shop right next to the area, should you need to buy some quick attachments, slide upgrades, grenades, a new vest, etc, but the prices wernt the greatest; 200-300 quid for a vest i could find on ebay for about 30, but such is the life of business & airsoft. The personnel were decent. Jack Weston is the man to talk to as he runs the gig, bar a few other minor exceptions i dont know on a friend level, but the guy is ex-military, so he knows his stuff. Friendly & easygoing. The marshalls knew what they were doing when it came to setting up game types, that being your standard TDM, CTB, Hostage Rescue, Infected AND Mike Myers. My only gripe with the site is that with my game, which was consisted of 14-15 people, it was apparently their best game they've had, which is understandable considering that its: 1. In the middle of nowhere. HR6 0SJ is the postcode if your intent on knowing where the site is. 2. 60 Miles out of birmingham, so initially an hour and a half drive w/traffic. 3. Somehow felt like it was a work-in-progress site. Considering its LITERALLY on a farm which im sure is being used. Other than that, its a good site for beginners, with the added addition that its soon going to have a live fire shooting range added on to it, so its deffo worth a look. Be sure to check out their FB page https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Body-Farm-CQB-AirSoft/548906135207812?sk=timeline
  10. Got my new college course starting on the 21st, yet have a possible game on the 17th. Should I get shot at to have something to talk about? ;)

  11. My HK/Umarex MP7 GBB is my pride and joy, despite it being 2 weeks old and hasnt seen the field yet; hopefully will on the 17th though, if we get transport sorted. Either way, im just waiting on my red dot sight and let the fun times roll!
  12. I know the bolt release only works when the bolt is held by the catch, except, in my case, it doesnt work whatsoever, bolt caught back or not; thats the issue i'm trying to explain and hopefully get a quickfix for. and dry firing has been fixed; just place a screw as far down into the spring of the magazine so the point it will stop it springing up, load it into the gun, and happy trails :3 sounds idiotic, but my brother did it for me, so if the spring breaks, its on him.
  13. Among the case of needing an upgrade to my gear, so that it fits in with my MP7 and the mags that are to come in the future, aswell as donning a new look that may not involve so much black (no racism intended!) I need some motivation & feedback on your vests, rigs and plate carriers. Preferably need the following information: Manufacturer & Price Tag Overall Quality Customisability How well it serves your loadout What would you change about it? (Not aftermarket additions, sadly; more like, would you have ditched an integrated pistol holster for more primary magazine pouches?) I'll start Considering this is my first ever airsoft loadout, im not particularly buying things to suit around my vest, I'm just buying whatever i feel is necessary in terms of usefulness and capacity. Anywho...... Here is my vest; originally found on Military1st.co.uk (Great site, fast delivery and mediocre prices for the product quality) but was bought on ebay for a little less for the same new unboxed quality) and is a great product and well priced by mil-tec Holds 3 Pistol and Rifle magazines, possibly 2 SMG mags in one pouch if you have the willingness and has a MOLLE attached pistol holster with an extra pistol mag pouch. comes with an integrated utility pouch with a velcro covering and its overall a very secure vest. also, considering im abit on the chunky side in terms of body shape, the adjustable straps, located at the sides and shoulders of the vest, go to a wider varying degree of space to accommodate larger people; throwing a guess out there, t-shirt size referencing, possibly an XL-XXL. With my vest, personally, however, i've made a few additions involving lots of stitching, an umbrella corporation patch & the smiley face from nirvana. At this time, i can't say how well it suits my loadout due to my recently purchasing my MP7 which has yet to see fieldwork, but the pouches hold the magazine very tightly with very little wobble in any direction. If i had to change one thing to the vest, it would be that all the pouches minus the utility pouch were MOLLE attached, giving the vest a wider form of customisation to fit even the heaviest of loadouts. Good quality product, good pricing and would recommend for any starting airsofter.
  14. Woops. my bad :L I didnt mean the magazine holding the weight of the BB, i mean (And i'm reading this from the manual) that the gun, or to my knowledge, the barrel can only shoot 2 types of rounds between 0.20 and .25 gram BB's, nothing heavier is referenced, so im assuming this is the norm for all GBB guns? Also, I haven't necessarily changed out my rounds from 0.20's, so im unaware of any first-hand experience with heavier BB's and sometimes passed the thought that it the higher the gram, the bigger the BB
  15. I presume you mean Jack Weston? and as far im concerned it was my first game; in terms of CQB in an very tightly packed environment it was a very fast and enjoyable game with the rules being fair & marshalls having relative safety for the players; even one kid sprained his ankle and the whole game paused for 5 minutes just to make sure he was okay. And for a first game, do you mean ever, or at WMA? if its the latter, I dont blame you, i've yet to go their myself, but we're on a strict basis to only play if badger squadron are onsite, as lack of players is very apparent without them.
  16. I'm glad someone did Anyway, can you or anyone give first-hand impressions on the NPAS kit in terms of the MP7?
  17. I'll have to replace vegans with starving army of vegans to further illustrate my point. and with my first game, they didnt really care to notice the ammo we were using, which was our own. plus, i'm using .20's and was thinking of upping the stakes to .25's, which, to my knowledge is the max the magazine can hold.
  18. Can't i just use heavier BB's or weaker gas? I've heard the NPAS kit isnt the greatest thing in the world, so im more dependant on getting my hands on a CQB bolt, which is about as fruitless as the garden of eden being in the hands of vegans.
  19. Ha, i'll take your word with the shadows. at that point, the flaslight becomes your bestfriend, as i've learned the hard way. If all else fails, the flashlight on my phone provides decent illumination xD
  20. Nice to see i'm not alone also noticed you've been to the asylum; it's in future plans with the squad to go up there, is it any good?
  21. Bought my MP7 new & boxed no less than a week ago; gun fires fine and accurate with no loose pieces, etc. However, it has come to my attention that there are a few issues apparent that need closure. (Also note this is the Navy version of the MP7, if it makes any difference) The bolt release, located above the trigger, serves no mechanical purpose in terms of cocking the gun; the cocking handle located at the back above the stock does all the work. Technical Oversight? or has a spring or mechanism broke? The magazine shoots a certain amount of shots before the bb's stop loading into the tip of the magazine feeding lip, I have to take the mag out, lower the spring and ensure it stays there. Also, there is no dry-firing mechanism allowed for this gun, in terms that if there isnt a BB in the mag, the bolt will stay locked back. Is that common?
  22. Umarex HK MP7 GBB (haven't fielded it yet, but by god, the kick is hard and the shots are loud! best £200 i've spent so far ) "AK Style" foregrip - http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NDI3WDY0MA==/z/CyMAAOSwirZTwMjV/$_12.JPG Red Dot Holographic Sight - http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/ODAwWDgwMA==/z/RQIAAMXQAx9RT~qI/$T2eC16RHJG!E9nm3qVlCBRT+qIZVzw~~60_57.JPG Also looking to buy a new vest to replace my current one & hold more MP7 Mags once i get the moolah.
  23. Hi, all. I'm Jack; Otherwise known as Porkchop on the field & i'm new to both sport & forum, but know the basics of gun operation & tactics. No games planned in the near future since we're (Me, My older brother and a friend) accustomed to playing with Badger Squadron (friends who frequent The Bodyfarm in Hatfield), but planning is essential Hopefully will see some of you on the field in future - Jack
