  1. I have one myself, but in DDPM colour; kinda stands out in the middle of a woodland match, but given the chance, i'd use it their comfy and have plenty of space.
  2. Anyone got recommendations for the G&G CM line? Tempted to get a CM18 or Raider series. Hell, i'll even get the KAC PDW if it's worth the money! :3

Well the final question of the day is how well does it perform? i've heard positive things about most G&G products, bar the 30th.

i dont really mind front wired, and i'd probably end up changing the handguard to a full rail RIS, as the lipo's i have are abit too big these days to hide inside so a bat-box is needed in most situations.

30th ??? - maybe I have said the 26 30th front sight is bit flimsy but the GC16 30th is the bollox - seen only happy reviews about the GC16 30th and mine I'm over the moon with. Though I haven't took her out skirmishing coz got her to add to my G&G collection and got plenty of others I take instead - Inside it is a CM16 so can't for the life of me imagine it being any less solid starter gun than my others. If your unsure get a raider though I think long raider is a tad long...

Well i can say i've been won over :3

  3. Well when i first started out i was seriously tempted in buying the SAAV setup, but the pouch dimensions put me off because i had no knowledge if it would fit MP7 mags in their length. Besides that point, it's a £30 vest that has everything you could possibly need at the cost of customisation. Not really my thing but it'd of been a last resort.
  4. Well in that case, SAPI plates for everyone!
  5. Well my standard games go on from bout 9 till 12, then 12:45 till 4 on an outdoor woodland field. and the vest is quite hefty, yes, but i am abit of a bulky person (by fat standards, lol) and the vest has served me well considering its a high-end vest. Although, i did bring the same vest to a cqb game and borrowed my bros pouches, plus an extra one for a external torch, which did serve me well to confuse the enemy, so im thinking a general medium/large pouch might help hold the other bits n pieces i might need. And carrying what i only need will help in rare occassions, as the more pouches i have the more variety and suitability to field and situation. It'd be funny to be the only guy with nothing but grenade pouches lining his vest xD Saying that, given more thought on it, as well as your input, i've dumbed it down to a small list of what i MIGHT need. again, input would be helpful. Hydration carrier radio pouch general/utility pouch (to hold phone and wallet, maybe) 2/3 grenade pouches (Though i did, somehow bounce a smoke back into my own trench; dont ask) Admin pouch.
  6. Running a Flyye Spartan Assault Vest and recently bought a single point sling, triple bungee pouch and 2 triples (Thankyou UKtactical). also have a 2 mag pistol pouch. Sounds all well and good in terms of ammo, but feel like im still missing a few essentials. Anyone got recommendations? Pictures for reference and the rear is completely bare, so plenty of molle space
  7. and the M4 upper reciever is off once again after a jam! okay lads; reattaching the hopup this time without fuckups, my only issue is reattaching the dust cover as the dust cover release wernt engaging. what am i missing?

  8. so top recievers jammed back into place without the hopup, courtesy of the misattached dust cover -.- yay!

  9. Anybody know how to remove the upper reciever of a CAA m4 Sportsline? got a misfeed i wanna try and find the issue of, and youtube/google aint helping!

okay well update: got it all the way off, cleaned the inner barrel, checked the hop rubber (fine) and the gearbox has strong compression. dust cover was being a pain in the ass; kept slipping out of place each time i tried putting it on and jammed up against the gearbox. Sadly now the cover release isnt working and the receiver is now jammed once again, with the battery connection hanging out the magwell xD

  10. Has anyone had any problems with a wrong order from UKtactical.com before? ordered a triple mag pouch that was on deal for a tenner and they sent me a single point sling instead -.- not impressed.

aha ill see what i can do xD

  11. Yup; it's me again :) Having issues with my CAA m4; not feeding properly and sounds like the gearbox is grinding itself to bits when trying to fire downrange, but with an empty/no mag and full battery, its fine. is a hopup replacement in order?

      Sitting Duck

if its new take it back

feeding could be hop but the grinding makes me think tappet not moving 101% correctly to load bb's

grinding could be tappet plate borked/stuck - still getting compression so sector is pulling piston ok atm

      RabidNinja64

Nah its about a few months bought from a friend second hand. somet was gonna come along and eff up eventually. so you reckon its not fully gearbox internal based? ill have to take it down to JD and have em look it over.

    4. Sitting Duck

      Sitting Duck

Probably best, sounds like tappet plate but I'm still guessing coz not got it here to see/hear for myself

  12. And the money is in the bank! ;D first question of the day; Where can i find a cheap triple bungee M4 mag pouch in coyote brown?

      RabidNinja64

      RabidNinja64

Good to know :) ill be sure to keep an eye on it.

  14. If that's the case, I have two new best friends! x'D
  15. Well if they're a good mix between price and performance with extra points into servicing then i cant complain anything spectacular from him?
  16. Indeed it is Sitting Duck linked me a nice looking AGM EBB gearbox not long ago but thats somewhat disappeared on me. Should also note i believe im missing parts of the gearbox to make it even work and i have no idea what xD so fixing it is out the window.
  17. As the title suggests, I'm looking for a decent and inexpensive full drop-in gearbox for an M4. Granted it's the most personal opinionated topic (Aside from the ever vicious UKARA debates ), but really im just looking for something to get the gun up and running to decent standards. My only issue is which brand to go for, considering my budget is more or less £50, im seeing low-spec companies like AGM, JG and Dboys make a more than moderate appearance throughout my shopping spree. That, and it'll make the lack of effort of replacing lonex gearbox internals that much less frustrating
  18. It's having an audio issue; wont transition the sound from the AVI recordings into the timeline and i've tried finding seperate audio codecs to install but it's having none of it.
  19. Hey all; just need a quick opinion on what video editing program is suitable for editing 1080p quality videos from the field? I run on a 32-bit W7 system and most programs i've tried (Vegas 11, Videopad, WLMM) don't seem to be doing great by me.
  20. I can one up it Say hello to the other half of Badger Squadron! I'm furthest to the left.
  21. Dont spose anyone knows where to buy a decent gearbox for £30-£40? Am eyeing up the SHS V2, but found no reviews...

Personally for £30-£40 you probably looking at cheap one from china that might be hotter m120+ and say 7mm bushings, plus chance of customs import tax and waiting n waiting for china post - JG, DBoys, Cyma etc...

      Or this APS one

    3. RabidNinja64

      RabidNinja64

Well the APS one you recommended is a good starting point & if you say its good ill take your word aha

  23. I'm tempted to get a CIRAS vest from there; bout £35, considering most stuff from places like Military1st are £50+. I haven't seen any convincing nor damnable evidence against them as of yet, but it's just started leaking through, so skeptical is the thought im running today
  24. Quick question guys; Does anyone have any references/images to wearing a CB plate carrier over MTP? Thinking of starting a newer loadout, just need to make sure it doesn't look like crap
  25. Finally my UKARA number came through :D I'm about as limited in options as getting the Spectre Status in Mass Effect!

atm I still think the rare initial high spec batch of FH's were best. A very loud bitch of a gun, turns heads and a fun gun to own. I'd see if any s/hand FH's come up for sale now the DSG is being released.
