  1. Im new to airsoft so can only go on what I know from my job. But we get thought when out in the field on exercise unless you reconise them you challenge them with your rifle ready I did this through out both my tours of Herrick n not once did anyone have any issues with it its just guarding the camp and its standard so a colour challenge if not issued then its a bit of a learning experience for the guys that got knifed and if it was me I'd shake the guys hand its not easy to sneak behind 2 people if there watching there lines correctly. As for the punching again new to airsoft I did an exercise with theparas and a few mariens and they did not get along at all but they left it on the field if they got hit then they shouted good shot and if they didn't like them it didn't matter as its training and at the end they all had a beer and that was it so I can't understand why in a family environment you could act like that fair enough walk over and chat as there's two sides but you pay money to play so enjoy it. I agree with what I read earlia talk to the marshals and let them sort it andthen just crack on and have fun. Again my opinion won't be great as my 1st skirmish is this Sunday and I'm just going off what I have learnt
  2. Thanks started getting annoyed so changed to shooting at a bean can in different firing positions from 50ft away n hit it most of the time so don't think I'll much better with out upgrading.
  3. Hi all. I have been zeroing my rifle today at 50ft using .25 BBS, outside with a red dot sight no magnification and had a grouping of 2-3inch. I don't think I will get it much better than that to be fair but wondered what everyone thought is that OK or should I get it 1-2inch so I am competitive. My rifle is a g&g gr4 cqb-s mini Thanks
  4. I think I'll take the ballistic plates out and get the wife to shoot me in it so only thing that's in will be the black shape inserts and cardboard plate fillers but either way wife will have a laugh shooting at me lol
  5. Only thing that concerns me about the osprey is not always being able to feel the hits where as ubac I know I wud as I'd take the foam padding out
  6. Got myself a new rifle and tricked it out now all I need to do is decide on gear I have the full mtp trousers and shirts along with a mtp UBAC (as seen) mainly play woodland but can not decided between my osprey body amour (heavy clumsey and not very quite) or my old cs95 NI rig (annoying to change mags and not many pouches). So what do people think let me know and help me chose and some feedback be great! Thanks
  7. Well its not too bad for me as I'm military so handling will be fine but think I will start to look at booking a site asap Cheers all.
  8. Hi interested in starting to play around the oxford\swindon area (I believe "the trail" is the closest site to me). Wondering if anyone is around here that plays and willing to have a chat and help a new lad out. Got recommended to join by air soft shop in Swindon as I don't fancy turning up on my own with no idea lol. Cheers
