  1. A Bren Gun kit If the No4 turns up I now have 2 rifles to build over the summer . Failing that my Uni room in September will resemble an armoury xD
  2. I really want to like shoot and scoot due to the amount of cool stuff they do but bloody hell they are taking forever with my order :(

I wean't for the kit - First quote was over 2 weeks ago :/ Last week they said should be ready for this week but its not looking good.

  3. If I remember rightly the guy was actually selling it as a project he started.
  4. I was the evil bastard sitting in the middle of the path in the pitch black stock still waiting until the enemy almost walks into me and bang killing them at the top of my voice I was amazed when 4 people decided they were dead!
  5. In 16 hours of gameplay at Okto I dont think I got a single kill
  6. Rhomney Hythe and Dymchurch railway is actually a good trip to take. Although a commercial line it was often had armoured train running up and down it in WW2 and runs near on of the military canals and you can spot a lot of relics from our early warning systems such as the sonar domes along the route. Also runs near the Hythe ranges which go on for miles! There is actually an intact Cold War bunker in Woodlands park in Gravesend but unfortunetly it is very rarely open to the public :/ Hornby Museum (not military but they do have some really cool models in there)
  7. There are two forts near me (Gravesend - one Fort Amhurst and 1 further along I cant remember the name off, both interesting to walk around and easy to get too IF you know the way. Upnor Castle Two RAF museums literally outside the entrance to DFTDC Manston (formally RAF Manston). The larger of the two has a very big range of aircraft and a couple of vehicles as well. Chatham Dockyard has is quite varied but has a lot on Naval History and a Submarine to wonder around last time I was there. Fort Amherst is also worth checking out. Dover Castle is a good trip, it was a fairly vital part of our sea defences during ww2 has miles of stuff to explore. Rochester Castle I will update this with stuff as I remember them
  8. .28 Devil Blasters. I never had an issue with them. Regular .25 blasters even worked ok for me.
  9. Started selling my back log of models, already halfway towards mabye buying a new cheaky weapn. Not sure wether to be brave and buy a Bren Gun kit or weather to play it safe and buy an RPK, and mabye drop a Daytona HPA kit in at a later date?

  11. Nearly 3 weeks now with no sign of the N04 kit being ready :/

  12. I like how it comes with a saw blade on the side as well... very handy for making disposing off the evidence easier.
  13. I started off by watching a load of videos by a polish? group called Birnyx who took the fun out of themselves and the sport in a good way. Then watched the videos by level cap and was put off by his attitude slightly. After that I watched some videos from other youtuber's which re-affirmed my belief that not everyone took it that seriously and was also happy to find out that RIFs were way cheaper then I thought they would be. I work in the cycle industry and raced a fair bit when I was younger and know from experience that once you get to a certain age group you need a good bike and a £1000 aint going to cut it. (I stopped racing near this point ). Airsoft in comparison seemed much more accessible as I became more financially independent from my parents. Dragged some school friends along and rented. Loved it, friends went of to Uni so I then dragged someone along from work Done a few skirmishes by myself and have always ended up nattering to someone. Otherwise I go along with my friend from work. Buying an AUG as a first RIF helped as everyone seems really curious about them at the Sandpit for some reason.
  14. Standards the one I got from there. Seems to be working a treat.
  15. Looks like Ealge 6 have the soft clear nub left. The standard and hard are out of stock though.
  16. If this is true.... I will be a very poor university student
  17. Trying wanting an L1A1 or FN FAL
  18. After getting baked like a potato I went from a PC to a battle belt and my kit will be at maximum load: 1 Triple Mag pouch set,1 Admin pouch, 1 radio pouch, 1 Dump Bag on my belt and either a water bottle or hydration pack. I have never needed any of the extra capacity I had on my PC.
  19. Best qoute I heard today. 'I thought I was just a sh*t shot until everyone told me I was hitting them!' Summed the whole afternoon up perfectly :D

  20. Oh I posted the L96 AK monstrosity into the ed lets play a game thread without realising it was already here
  21. What even? why! whats the point! (L96+AK had a baby apparently)

  23. Aside from blowing up a battery I have managed to fit a flat hop to the F88a2 and succesfully swapped the connectors on my one surviving battery Definitely learned a few lessons this weak end Dry firing is showing how much of a difference there is in the trigger response on the A2 compared to my A1 which still has regular Mini Tamiya's atm. Looking forward to taking a trip into the garden and seeing how the flat hop performs tomorrow.
  24. Ooops, just shorted out a LIPO cutting the old tamiya connectors off Frantic run to the garden with a suddenly very warm battery.
  25. Summer project sorted. I should have a Lee Enfield to build soon. Hopefully it comes along just after my exam next week.

shame, I always prefered the SMLE. The front end just looks more robust.

I kinda prefer the look of the NO4. I was considering the possibility of the SMLE in terms of also doing a WW2 Aussie Impression to go along with the modern one I have going but the extra cost put me off.

    4. Russe11

      Russe11

yeah, I don't know why the SMLE is so much more expensive.
