  1. Gotta say - seen about a dozen of them so far, 0 issues from any. Besides that mini-T plug, tossed that thing instantly. I love the weight, the mags feed well enough (though I hate the size of them - a carry over from my real MPX), ill probably toss a new motor in and replace the fuse with a fet and leave it well enough alone.
  2. Hmm, Im clearly not paying attention. I have one for my KSG. It works well. Shipping time was pretty good. I believe I had one instance where I talked to CS - for information not issues - and their reply solved whatever it was. Owned it for about 3-4 years now and its still going strong, not that I use shotguns much. Now If Id owned my KSG when I played at The Mall back in the day...
  3. Ran my Flecktarn last Saturday for a trial run for a MilSim in September. Worked pretty well. My Bingo 249 performed admirably as always. I love the shaded picture where I’m basically invisible haha.
  4. "Legality" is an interesting one for airsoft in the UK. The easiest way to get realistic-colored guns is to get a UKARA number. To get one simply play three games at a site in X amount of time (2 months? Three? I cant remember). Then you can get a non-painted gun. I cannot comment on your particular case regarding MVT though. That being said you dont need anything to legally own a realistic airsoft gun, only to *buy* one.
  5. I wish I could find WA mags. Ive got a single stack 1911 Id love to use (given to my grandfather by a member of the Japanese Police? Anti-terror? their version of the FBI? IDK - as a thank you for some work he did for them for the I believe 1998 Winter Olympics) but the sole single stack mag I have just isnt enough.
  6. I refused to buy one until mags were available. So now, I have one haha. I built one years ago using a Sig Air springer, but Im happy to have the real thing now as well. If theyre appearing this side of the pond I imagine theyll be appearing in the UK soon.
  7. True. However I avoid AR-pattern guns for the most part. I own a few KA PDWs, an AEG M27 LE, a Daytona M27, a NGRS 416a5, and this MTW. Nothing I can really use an AEG UBR on. I did have it mounted to a 417 using a custom adapter I made on a lathe, but again the battery space was an issue so it was removed.
  8. Yep. I work on a range here in the US and anything extra in the safe at work is kinda "fair game" to use, so the UBR and SP mount are from there. I have a black AEG PTS UBR as well, but I am yet to find a platform I like it on as the battery setup is less than ideal - but its perfect on a HPA gun like a MTW.
  9. Alright, *now* my MTW is externally done. Still need to tune it properly and add some “softening material” to the front for it to be 100% inside, but I’m really loving how it’s turned out, as long as I ignore the cost haha.
  10. Me: "Hmm, my holster plus dump pouch on my left can really weigh my battlebelt down... what can I do to counterbalance it?" Rational Brain: "Move things around, maybe transfer some vest weight to the belt?" "Irrational Brain: "Axe. Large, Nordic Axe." Too much?
  11. Found some old .45 tracer ammo last night so I had to break out my RS FNX45. looks nigh identical to your black one except with a far longer suppressor haha.
  12. Pics are starting to come in from Op Stonebreaker this past weekend. The AO is an old nuclear power plant now used for training and the occasional MilSim. I was running a hybrid AT/LMG role.
  13. She wasn’t cheap, but I’ve been looking for an excuse to join the MTW club for awhile now and shiny things always draw my eye. #157/250. All externals are real Magpul and took very little modification to fit. Still need a few external parts to arrive tomorrow to finish the build, but she’s looking and preforming excellently.
  14. Decent externally, as most others here have done I tore the internals out and replaced them. Seemingly fully v2 compatible. Right now its in my top 3 SMGs alongside my KWA TK45c BC and TM Bingo MP7. Externals are pretty compatible - I throw on a keymod rail system and actually extended it a bit.
  15. I personally wont wear my Russian kit, but is it because of the current events or because its bloody hot and not as comfortable as my German outfits? If you show up in Russian kit I may ignore you as another BBLarper or compliment something if its particularly good. If you show up in Russian kit and talk about how youre invading Ukraine or making fun of the situation I have a feeling youll be kicked out. I wont be getting rid of my gear anytime soon though, and if I sign up for Fulda Gap, Caspian Assault, or any other NATO vs WARSAW/RUSFOR themed game as the Russians, then Ill wear it. I dont really care end of the day what you wear as long as it isnt purposely offensive.
  16. Its essentially locktite'd on. Like an orange tip but more extreme. Youll need to get it quite hot, then wrap something around it (its metal, so itll be hot) and unscrew. Its a PITA to do.
  17. After my 417 drum design, I decided to make a little something else. Anyone wanna take a guess at the finer details? Very much still a WIP. This thing took 13 hours to print at only 30% infill - 100% would take over 25 hours. I still need to do a bit of detailing, add the bottom cutouts and bolt hole, slightly reduce the internal cavity, add the retainer bolt and nut holes, and as I am likely to split these in half for future printing ill have to model that and do the bolt and nut holes for that part too.
  18. Peanut Butter Family Photo. Not all my HKs, just all my tan HKs.
  19. 417 drum adapter v3b is good enough to show pics of. v2 and v3 were based off the Angel Customs drum, instead of the A&K SR-25 drum that v1 used, as that drum apparently sucks, and neither lasted through a single game day. v3c will likely be the final version, I just gotta make a little more room for the rear of the adapter to drop down. Not gonna be a big enough change for a v4. Three part, requires a donor AC M4 adapter, two M3x25mm bolts, one M3x14mm bolt, and three M3 square nuts. Complete reversible back to M4 adapter, so no wasted parts. You’re just using the sliding door, BB retention wedge, and spring. Since then I printed a low infill v3c and it fit, so now I have the final prototype of the two inner parts printing, and if those are all good then we will have a finished version.
  20. MTWs are supposed to be one of the best OOTB guns out there, with every part being made specifically for the platform. I will be getting one myself in April. But we are gonna need a good bit more info to help you. Any internal mods? BB weight and brand? Reg? Hows your refresh rate? Any bends or kinks in your line? Have you played with adjusting your hop at all? Does it have the new Phoenix hop, or standard?
  21. So the threading on my TM MP7 has finally worn down enough to not securely lock the flash hider on. So I need a replacement. I want to stop with the (I believe) 12mm threads as I run it with the MP7 suppressor/tracer, which needs the specific flash hider to work. So anyone know where I can get a replacement? Country doesn’t matter at this point.
  22. Time to wire this Bullgear mag into my Galil. Hope this doesn’t require the milling machine...
  23. You are forgetting something. The Church of HK will remind you. 417
  24. My Galil ARM build is nearing completion. Externally she's all but there, though the internals still need some work. Special parts include a real MePro M21 sight, custom Galil midcaps, Bullgear RPK drum, and a heavily modified Bullgear gearbox shell and Retro Arms AK hop to fit together. If people really want it I can post a full build list, but I dont really feel like looking up the list right now...
  25. Yea myself and my local tech asked about custom nozzles and the number we got, well, was a bit much. And this is coming from me - I have several guns in the 4 digit range and some even approaching 2 grand. Im not gonna say that the Hydra is the *only* option - I would message P*, Amped Airsoft, and Airsoft Junkiez (the latter two are two of the biggest custom HPA builders in the US and do this kind of stuff regularly) alongside any big HPA custom shops in the UK, and see if any existing nozzles out there will fit another engine and the RPD setup. The Hydra will work fine for you if you do have to go that route, its just not as good as say a F2 or Reaper. Also I despise the simple Wolverine FCUs - to the point that buying bluetooth boards is almost a necessity for me now for any Wolverine guns. You can certainly make due with the little dials, but nothing compares to having an actual screen to read off numbers.
