Or could just join a re-enactment group and pay money out for the insurance there, (which is still recognised by customs, but not by a certain 0 shop)
  2. The fact he clearly states it, look for the line starting "I'm planning to upgrade all my guns to 11.1.......... this is why I was confused, he ( Ian Gere) posted it on 22 January 2014 , it's the 6th post in this thread
  3. LOL if you want some realism and fun at the same time? Just find a blank fire sten gun, load 28 blanks, cock it, and chuck it in the window assuming it work like the real thing, it's sorted 8)
  4. Is this for real? Fact, we see every day people trying to charge us 200 quid for an ICS M4 that cost 180 new, just because they'd added a magazine and 'upgraded it' here's how that works barrel 30 quid New Lonex M4 L series 300 Quid (or 220 to you ) new gearbox 80 quid crap one swapped with Lonex new rewire 20 quid rewire geabox, already done with new front rail 30 quid use any element crap to replace So having swapped bits with lonex, the only 'upgrade' is to the sellers optimistic wallet upgrade part like barrel are already done second item for sale is 'lonex M4 never skirmished, just 250, some upgrades So why would we want to deal with a British Shop that can only guarantee that they won't charge less than a certain price for set items I'd do that to look great, set up a dummy wholesaler, charge myself a fortune for tax reasons, because of the new pricing structure lose a fortune for tax reasons, add to the fact that I'm now in competition with companies that don't have the same OPERATING (note that) Factory labour laws as we do and place myself in competiton with making myself some money off importing stuff as a private individual and managing to resell it for less than the MAP by using the airsoft forums as a private guy and charging more for it 8)
  5. Will heavier pistons and piston heads work to keep the ROF down in this way? Surely less current to the motor would do this with less wear on everything? I tried to use 'quote ' Ian_Gere, but I can't see how that would work you're using a mosfet for trigger response, presumably the right motor, all the heavier gear would do is surely to add more wear? if you have a mosfet and highspeed trigger how would loading the rest gain you anything? confused I am .
  6. Thanks Monty, Yeah, I've had people saying 'should' but I don't want to shell out £40 and have it not feed, there must be a couple of people out there who have tried it though, or if there's someone with one of each gun can try it?
  7. Will King Arms Drum fit Cyma Thompson? Says it all really
  8. I use a pair of motorcycle gloves, can take one off if need to do anything superfiddly
