Got the bugger open finally. There's shards of bevel all over the place!
 
Think I'm either gonna buy up some CYMA parts from a listing here or some SHS 13:1 gears from @ak2m4.
 

I have some 14:1 ZCI Advanced gears from AK2M4 in my Cyma P90. Nice and solid, very cleanly made. So much so I bought a 16:1 set to go in the G36

Thanks...I think 🙂  Just work really hard to get everything out at the right time, without any delays.  Surprised at how many companies can't seem to manage it

It is a free float rail, fitted fine on my own ACM Chinese GBB and does fit on Tippman's and real steel.  Not sure if it would fit on the MWS sorry.

If you can solder - just convert to deans and be done with it
On rare occasions you might need dean/tamiya converter
Just knock one or two up yourself from old lopped off ends
 
Though converters are fine to use different bits together
You will still suffer the resistance as you still using tamiya
throughout the wiring loom, these joints is where resistance
and/or warmth/heat may occur (like all joints in loom)
 
If you can't solder, ask a m8 who can
just cut-solder one lead at a time on batteries - especially lipo's
they pack one heck of a wallop if you short or cut both wires at same time
(clean underwear will likely be required after experiencing a lipo short)
 
Replacing small tamiya with deans outright is best

Never seen a 330mm but someone out there may do them, here's the full list of ZCI.  Pretty great barrels for the price.  Should have new stock in January.

the moment she did a Mary Poppins into the spaceship  , what were they thinking. And the constant jokes with the big eyed birds. 

Disney WTF!  Saw it last night - hugely disappointed.  I should have known better.  Maybe cos I'm an old miserable sod.  I'm off to set fire to my complete set of Star Wars toys 1977 - 1983 RIP :-) 

I hear what you're saying James,  in an ideal world I'd like to see centralised database / website that all site owners had access and could update and where you could request / lookup information.  All free of course, paid for from advertisment etc.  Need support of a few major sites though to get aboard and push it.  
 
 

Just accept that this will not be your only gun. Get something half decent but don't overthink it. With a few exceptions pretty much whatever you get will be better than you are for a while to come!
