  9. replica, diden't notice the link dont ask where that came from. If i could afford a real eotech i probably wouldn't have it on an airsoft gun

  11. New ARES SCAR-L with the EFCS gearbox used in the amoeba series, had an amoeba M4 last year and jind of regretted selling it, was a great little gun, i have high hopes for the SCAR.
  12. We (at black ops cribbs) are soon to be converting over to these as our rentals, over the next couple of months, Despite the high cost they make a lot of scence considering we already have the infrastructure for bulk HPA being an offshoot of a paintball site. We previewed them last week to general interest and positive feedback and shall be running tests over the next couple of weeks to determine efficiency and how much of a beating that can take.
  13. At my regular sites we have strong rules about touching used BFGs - i.e. other players aren't to touch the BFG unless to hand it to a marshal or the owner. once deployed a BFG "does not exist" until it is recovered by the owner. we have had a couple of incadents where players have thrown / kicked other peoples bfgs intentionally and they have gone missing. that said we recenty found a TMRF that had been lost a couple of months ago on the site and it still functions fine even after sitting in the mud and elements for a long time.
  14. my current, no specific nation / PMC loadout. top to bottom, Hat - beany or baseball cap depending on weather Bolle trackers fleabay boom mic headset, Weirdfish softshell Agilite hi-vest assault vest pistol belt with clone crye clip holster and 2 clone fast mags, customized MTP trousers cheep knee pads goretex pro-boots (i think)
  15. yes as the system stands you will vent the remaing CO2 in the mag if you remove to before its empty, from what i understand the point is to keep the mags as cheep as possable i.e. they were talking about $10-20 a mag, even a simple check valve would probably at least double the price.
  16. For looks and feel it has to be the browning HP, but mines keeps breaking. for practicality and reliability the glock 17
  17. we run the rule that you must always be able to see where you are throwing an exploding pyro so treated like blind firing. (smoke are a different case) and always underarm, when TAGs are used on site you must fire it like a grenade and not like a mortar, and having been in one of our huts when one came through the window i would say simmilar if not a little less unpleasent than a Mk5 or EG field Grenade.
  18. The foam that the TAG rounds are made off is very light and low density, i would say you were at greater risk from the peas / clay pellets used in thrown pyro.
  19. I would think so, It looks to be modeled from the EMAG rather than the PMAG and they (PTS) state 416 compatibility as that has an extended magwell similar in length to the sa80
  20. in an attempt to bring the thread back to the correct course, My new L86 like an L85 but 20% more unwieldy. I think it needs a susat
  21. Last night game i plauyed in we used tiny little 1.5" fishing lure glowsticks for team marking, when positioned well they dident give away a position but gave a fairly clear team ID at closer ranges. as for game types what cheese said.
  22. While we are dubious to there exact legality. We has a couple of these on site to evaluate for safety, we tested both the chalk marking and timed pyros, both are very light, about the weight of a squash ball, The foam they are made from is has a similar strength and density to expanding foam fillers and forms small and safe fragments upon detonation with no sharp edges like some other polymer pyro we have tested. the pyrotecnic round produce a nice bang and a bright flash, and can be lauched about 150ft with green gas.
