I think you would be better off using an air horn or one of those motion sensing bike alarms.

One of my mates is a sneaky bugger and has caused a few teams to nearly get into big fights over repeated so called friendly fire. Only for a marshal to intervene and suggest that maybe they clear the area better because that isn't friendly fire...

At least in those cases the players weren't deciding it didn't count, but got salty when they respawned for the 3rd time only to get shot in the back as they pushed up again lol.

I've had to explain a few times to people on my team that the reason I can tell there is an enemy player nearby is because you can clearly hear them shooting. I wouldn't want someone with such dubious awareness to be making judgement calls on whether or not a hit they took was a ricochet.

If you aren't sure if you have been hit, you've been hit.

It was selling, not buying but I've just sold a load of RIFs there today and it was a good experience.

I contacted them via WhatsApp and discussed prices and was happy with the prices agreed.

To be honest I was a little concerned that I would get there and have to renegotiate prices on everything over any tiny discrepancy in condition, but this fortunately wasn't the case. The only change in price was a GBBR that turned out not to function properly when tested and I thought it was fair enough that they wouldn't offer me the stated price when it needed work doing to fix it.

It took all the hassle out of bulk selling kit and I thought the prices were sensible given they need to maintain a margin to resell things for a profit.

I'd definitely recommend them if you want stuff shifting without messing about with private sales.

Lost count of the number of times when marshaling a players been reported as not taking their hits, so I've given them an "honesty shot" usually with a pistol from behind in the butt from 40-50ft, & the player rubs where he's been hit but carries on playing..........
Well at least until I whisper in his ear to "go take 10 mins in the safe one & think about whether you want to keep playing today" 😏.
No different from what we're discussing here, they make an assumption it's probably friendly fire (or they're not taking ANY hits) & play on.......
    Wankers🤬

One of the most frustrating things is seeing players you have flanked not take hits because they assume they are ricochets. Best to take the hit if you aren't sure.

One unspoken rule I've seen a fair bit is marshals pretending they aren't aware of their regulars making a habit of not taking hits. Got told at one site by some players on my team they just have to play around a particular group to have an enjoyable day.

add first stencil layer then overspray with olive ,

next stencil layer overspray with grey

then some light dusting of black to blend a little , leave to dry , peel & reveal

I do not normally post here, but this advert was brought to my attention.  It does seem optimistic pricing when a new gun and 7 mags is around £650.  Using 2/3 rule of thumb for second hand would be around £450 or am I missing something?

£100 for the p226 is sensible provided the mag holds gas, otherwise you might need to price it a bit lower as they are 25-30 quid each. Not sure about the rest

I hate this place. There's always something that empties my wallet.
Seriosuly though; it's a great place to pick up bargains. Second hand rifs and kit, in good condition, or sell some of your own surplus.
If I need something these days my first port of call is stack up. If Graham doesn't have it he knows where to get it.

Obviously, sometimes, with a second hand rif there may be an issue. It's a second hand rif, after all. Example; a friend's son bought a pistol. It went wrong first time out. Graham took it back, fixed it, and now it works perfectly.
Stocked with loads of standard stuff but also lots of oddities, and run by people with a wealth of airsoft knowledge going back many years.
    I'd definitely recommend.

There is a sticky post in this sub-forum relating to retailers.

"A topic with a link to your website and a description about why players might wish to do business with you is absolutely no problem. Even better if you can come back to the forum and answer any questions that might be posted in your topic. Your own topic full of copy and pasted marketing spiel will get no replies (before it's deleted) and it won't look great on you."

Any site that thinks they have their finger on the pulse with chrono but insists on only testing with 0.2g makes me roll my eyes because of this. The other silly thing with doing so is that guns with really strong hop setups can be buggered up by firing lightweight BBs so you either risk that or can't play at that site using it - I have a gun with an R hop that applies a reasonable amount of hop with the dial turned to the lowest setting.

Joule creep was fairly well documented on the Airsoft sniper forum 5-10 years ago, so there's no excuse.

I thought HPA was considered the most consistent FPS wise? The only almost certainly overpowered hit I ever took in the 100 or so games I've played was most likely a CO2 gun with a new bulb, made me consider stopping for the day it was so painful(relative to normal hits) - felt like being shot with a coin and left a bruise the size of one...

I don't see their rules mention CO2 at all outside of launchers so are they just fine despite the new bulb issue?

Yesterday was our first game with our own gnus instead of rentals, so there was much excitement in the lead-up to the day.

First thing I realised was how much extra prep there is now.  Make sure then gnu's are fit to fight, get LiPos charged ready to go, check mags are feeding, don't forget your speed-loader, bring a USB LiPo charger in case you need an emergency top-up at lunchtime...

On the plus side, both my Double Eagle and the boys Cyma G36 performed flawless all day long, bar some intermittent feeding issues on full auto for the G36.  Reading around it seems the HiCap G36 mag may be to blame, I have a spare for him to try next time.

First time going through a chrono check, his clocked in at 313 on .20s and mine at 290 on .25s.  Was surprised to just be asked what weight I was using, I had assumed I'd be asked to load a few of the sites own BBs so that people can't under report to get through chrono.

Game highlights for me were managing to push up a central line unnoticed whilst the enemy were trying to flank on the left.  As they encountered resistance in their push they started to bunch up, effectively stacking themselves up for me to pick off.

Also managed to get a few CQBish kills in some clearance action walking into enemy held positions.  Got the drop on a couple of guys, then I heard voices in a tower, so rounded the corner and loosed off a couple of shots.  A trio of rental kiddies started yelping and looked like rabbits in the headlights, so I stopped at that point as it was pretty close range.  The two survivors repaid my mercy by lighting me up, no good deed goes unpunished.

We had a couple of friends (Dad and son) with us for their first go at airsoft who did the morning session.  Sadly I don't think they'll be back, the young lad didn't enjoy being shot and I think was a bit overwhelmed by the whole affair, the morning session was pretty heavy in terms of incoming fire, which allows me a segue into...

I'm still too new to the game to really have enough insight, but I've played a few games now, been hit many times (I'm crap) and at close range and never had much of a mark to show for it.  Yesterday felt much heavier in terms of incoming fire.  I had a few hits that stumbled me, you had a huge welt on your neck, some other guy had one even bigger than that.  The boy has some decent impact marks on his chest even through a couple of layers of MTP.

As you say, not sure if that was a someone shooting hot or just something that can consistently get a lot of rounds down range right up to the FPS limit.  We've come into the game as newbies expecting some variation both in terms of sportsmanship and game-days, so we just include this alongside poor hit-taking or team-balancing issues in the bottom line figure of what makes a good day vs bad day in the world of airsoft.

I still reckon you have dirt in the barrel/hop rubber or need to replace the hop rubber. I wouldn't bother experimenting with BB weights until you check this.

If anything you will experience even worse performance by just upping your BB weight.

I find the isopropyl wipes used for injections cut in half along the fold work really well for cleaning barrels when threaded through a cleaning rod. You can get boxes of them online for a few quid.

I agree with Jim, doesn't sound like much of a friend. I always find there is 1 "friend" in every group that makes money or takes the p out of the others on stuff financially.

I can't see any ngrs  that's been upgraded by unknown parts by unknown techs getting more than £500 and even if it was the best tech in the world.....your tech who fixed the wire has effectively made them irrelevant (as he could have introduced God knows how many issues).

£400 is around the value id expect you to achieve.

I wonder if you would be better off buying a cheap air rifle. Not shot any for years but I'd imagine a sub £100 .177 air rifle is better to shoot than most airsoft guns for that price.
