I also got a mesh mask and eyepro and a watch cap. As I'm now at uni, I've decided to basically restart my kit from scratch. I've also decided to go Russian

I looked into both (basically being a massive WAS fanboy) and chose the Condor Gen 2 belt. The main reason being the condor has the flaps (fnarr) you can lift up to attach any droplegs to the actual belt instead of the MOLLE. Reason being that while I don't like the standard drop leg that rides somewhere near a teenagers knee I do prefer a lower riding holster so my chest rig doesn't interfere with my draw (I use a Safariland style holster with a Safariland dropflex adaptor to lower it by about 4" from my belt).
 
I do have a WAS yoke set that works absolutely fine with the Condor belt too so I have the options.

Warrior Assault Systems. You can't go wrong with their kit tbh.

I recently purchased a battle belt by Warrior Assault Systems (no surprise as I am a fan of their kit) for about £45 for the PLB enhanced belt. Strong construction with plenty of adjustment around the waist and well padded for comfort. There is a decent range of WAS pouches to put on the belt, or other brands with Molle. It has loops for attaching straps/suspenders, etc.
 
I currently have my belt fitted with: a triple M4 mag pouch, slim dump pouch, medium admin pouch, pistol holster, and double pistol mag pouch.

5.11 vtac brokos belt, great belt, I'm a drop leg person, I prefer not having anything on my upper body, keeps centre of gravity lower.

Lower mesh often/usually requires some bespoke modification to fit comfortably. I second proffrinks suggestion of padding rather than just using a gum shield, especially as gum shields are probably more irritating to wear and you'll only be able to talk like a gimp. Gum shield might keep your teeth in but will just split your lip instead if you take a bb to the mouth (seen it happen, dude decided on the spot he was going back to mesh lol)
 
Always worth spending bit of time to modify a mesh lower rather than not bother.

wondered that, just a cheap one from sports direct, sounds too easy, wasn't sure is anything to look out for? or avoid?

Needed a sling and saw a video on YouTube for the Irene Adaptive Sling (IAS) - it is a 1 point to 2 point sling that has mash hooks (which I find much easier to fit on sling mounts). It cost $52.90 so about £34 (including P&P) from a US supplier Command Airsoft Technologies on eBay, had to email them to get the shipping price for the UK.

Seeing as you have to be 18 to legally buy an airsoft gun I'd say it's pretty important.

They can be owned if you're under 18, purchase is the limited aspect.

No such thing as an out of the box DMR. You need to buy a base AEG/GBB and spend a lot of cash upgrading it.
It's easier to do with a GBBR but you will have a lot of temperature inconsistencies, unless you use an HPA system like Polarstar (expensive) Daytona Gun (also expensive) or the Wolverine SMP.
If you're going to use that as a base gun, see if you can buy it without all of the accessories. You're better off spending the extra cash on internal parts.
Chances are that the accessories are more expensive in that package than they are when purchased individually.

Just back from work and found most of my first load-out had arrived so had to put it together and through it on for some half ass pics! (Was too lazy too reach for a hoodie that I would use) And cheers to all for the advice for the load-out too!
