As with all things airsoft they should work absolutely fine together. Get yourself some barrel shims while you're at it to make sure it all lines up OK.
-
Are you trying to make a MK18 by any chance?
275mm is the total length of the product, 10.3" is the nominal length of the outer barrel part.
You don't want a 7.62 rail for an M4. Get the DD 9.5" (especially if you're going for the MK18 look).
As for the QD KAC silencer, you will need a bit of space between the end of the rail and the rear end of the flash hider as the suppressor fits over that.

To expand on what @Colin Allen put so succinctly, not really.
There are places to play that cost less than £60 a pop to rent (Red Alert for example is £50) but to get your UKARA it costs what it costs I'm afraid.
Plus, let's be honest if you've been playing plenty you're not going to want a) a gun as cheap as three rental sessions or b) just one RIF.

No, with the full charged battery, if I pull the trigger once - I get two beeps. If I pull the trigger twice rapidly - I get about 15 rapid beeps.
Weird! here's hoping the new battery resolves this.
Thanks to all of you offering help - I'm new to this, so this forum is really helpful.
I have the G&G SR25 E2 APC, I only ever had that beeping when I tried to run it on a 7.4v LiPo. Swapped to an 11.1v and it stopped (I've since swapped out the ETU for the Perun ETU++ and that lets me use 7.4v no problem. Fingers crossed on the new battery!

Ah, I'm using the G&P mount on my socom as well, so that's definitely a concern. My cheapo LPVO cleared the rear sight on some pretty low mounts, but it's obviously not the same LPVO, so will have to see. The mounts that it comes with look medium-ish (not going for the one-piece mount), so I'll try those out. If not, I'll measure them and get lower ones accordingly.
I think I might just get the victoptics one, since a bunch of you have said it's good and at the current sale price on Aliexpress it feels like a steal at
£76£91 including tax. Plus I just got a new job (offer literally came in this morning) with a decent pay bump, so I'm sure I can afford to buy oneI have both Vector Optics and Victoptics scopes and honestly, I'm hard pressed to see the difference. Granted my eyesight is only 202/20 when it's corrected and I'm just using it for airsoft but still. If you want to go cheaper and simpler Victoptics do a 1-4 LPVO now as well https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002037442492.html?pdp_npi=4%40dis!GBP!£67.32!£49.14!!!81.29!59.34!%40211b801517132614736886930e161e!12000036678249127!sh!UK!759559025!&spm=a2g0o.store_pc_allItems_or_groupList.new_all_items_2007523591909.1005002037442492

The MR Hop rubber has a very large contact patch, if that's a stock barrel the mound inside the hop rubber might not be sitting quite properly. Have a look down the barrel and check to see that it's free to move up and down properly.
Did you order a better barrel by any chance?

Bloody hell! Another skill I'm going to have to do to a half decent standard! lol
Welcome to self teching!
Clean out all the shit grease that came in it from the factory and relube it with some half decent stuff. Not loads either.
Shimming from the factory will be the absolute bare minimum. Do it properly and it'll run smoother, be quieter and last longer.

Appreciate it, but I'm going lowwwww. I had a LPVO on it before on very low rings and it felt great, so I'm going for the same here (just with a better LPVO with a 1x instead of 1.5x minimum)
That's fair, I have the G&P mounts for mine so they sit quite low anyway. Medium rings the scope at a decent height for me. I might still have some low rings though (I'll have a look and drop you a DM).
This is mine for reference - be aware if you go too low you may end up fouling on the rear sight!

To be fair, I think the site is only about 100 yards across
Good point, well made! Seemed to spend half the day at one end or the other of the range, or building 4!

Oh you magnificent bastard, I like this one. $96 for the SFP one with regular low rings (I'd probably buy some even lower ones elsewhere, but 30mm is easy to shop for!) and with a reticle that I like. It seems to tick all the boxes and it's not too pricey!
How low are you looking at? I have the Vector S6 on my M14 SOCOM and it's been fantastic. I also have a spare set of Vector medium 30mm rings we could do a deal on if you're interested!

Sorry - Victoptics S6 which is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than the Vector one.

Also looking at a tactical vest on ebay to complete a Stargate SG1 loadout. Trying to find an accurate, black blackhawk omega is impossible, so this vest would be more of a Stargate-inspired vest than a stitch-counter accurate version. Pics will be shared if I do decide to pull the trigger on the vest..
Just in case you fancy it https://www.stitchsloft.com/loft/sg-1-omega-elite-conversion/

Went to South Coast CQB for the first time in about 8 years yesterday!
Overall a good day, but....
Marshalling was pretty woeful, several times the two marshals assigned to our side spent the entire game sat at spawn pissing about with their phones. The other two seemed to be a bit more on the ball so there's that. Lots of whingeing about hit taking but personally I didn't see a problem. I think there's a lot of people whose guns aren't as good as they think they are!
The site is a LOT smaller than the last time I went. The whole back half of the site has been fenced off by the landowner (presumably because the buildings are less fucked and able to be rented out).
Teams were massively unbalanced and there was no attempt to address it. We got our shit pushed in and spent most of the day within about 100yds of our spawn point (that's on us, I am aware).
On the plus side, my SCAR full of @ak2m4's upgrade bits performed excellently, although my MP9 managed to get a BB stuck under the nozzle and went through a kinetic disassembly.
Good day overall, not in a massive rush to go back though. There's other sites that are the same/less distance that I'd rather spend my time at.

HPA is easier to maintain and fix it though compared to an AEG because HPA engines don't look like a clock
Three gears looks like a clock? What kind of clocks did you take apart as a kid?
HPA engines don't have gears but they do have a significant amount of pingfuckits and Jesus clips, not to mention the seals that need more regular maintenance than a greasy rack.
As for how much money people have spent on upgrading an AEG, the components in a gearbox would only cost as much as a P* F2 if you had them plated in gold first! 😄

@DanBow A few of my friends run hpa and they swear by it.
what’s tempting for me is the more consistent fps. Plus I play around a lot of hpa players and therefore it’s inevitable that I am going to lean more towards hpa over elec.
There is an argument that once set up properly hpa will be more consistant and reliable due to less moving parts. Although seeing some people on the fields this is definitely not always the case.
HPA is only more reliable if (like gas) you're happy to do the maintenance. A well set up AEG can be consistent enough for a game where the slightest whiff of a breeze can make a mockery of the money you've spent on making your gun super accurate and consistent!
Thing is, social circles (like many corners of the interwebs) are basically echo chambers. All your friends think HPA is great, therefore you are more likely to go HPA because that's all you've heard about.

The biggest issue I have with getting paint jobs like that off is that they just never really completely come off. There's always a little nook or cranny that stays painted.

Angle grinder. That'll work.
