Me and my buddies do it when we play together as what you could call a 'squad' but we just loop them through the molle on our rigging. But I've seen plenty of people attach them on their stocks. I suppose its just a preference really.

We use them for Identification mostly but if used them for many different purposes such as a dim light for navigation or a marker in a cirtain room/ objective so I can back track to that if was to get lost or whatever.

i might do that to my ak47 once i can finally get rid of it. Probably has no resale value as it's two tone orange and made of cheap plastic for the exterior. Although.... the metal gearbox that i've put in it and taken time to perfect does has some value....

Scrimping on a charger for LiPo's = Possible instantaneous combustion, possibly in some cases setting fire to property worth considerably more than the extra expense of the proper charger. LiPo charging bags will only stop so much. If it does combust, the bag won't save you.

Don't see the point personally, the whole concept of a 'gaming tablet' is a bit derp.

So it can stream from pc to tablet, just use a monitor as intended so you don't have to play 1080p games on a tiny 8" screen.

Having used remote access solutions on tablets before, I can tell you that doing anything PC related on a tiny touch screen is hernia inducing.

Hmm it was too long. The end is basically that it is assault with a weapon as I understand the law. Most experts probably couldn't tell the difference between RIF's at a distance and the real deal. An airsofter confronted by the same thing in the real world would probably find it a shocking and upsetting experience. Though they would quickly realise what had happened.

In the VCRA 2006 it is an IF in public that could be max 12months/fine or both

cav: manufacturing is illegal.. import.. I am not sure about the law but at the very least they will bin it if you import without UKARA... if you got other valid defense you MIGHT get it after a long legal battle with them.

Interesting, I am genuinely curious about this legislation and how it is applied. A friend of mine had two guns imported from the states in the "separated in to two parts" manner, a couple of months ago. He has no UKARA. He was not questioned by HMRC, but simply paid the import duty and VAT. I do not believe he has broken any laws and he has not intention of doing so. He just used, as Mack said, the loop holes and got himself a bargain.

No, I am pretty sure you are wrong there and that your friend did indeed break the law. there have been threads about, search or make a new thread. There is a reason why there is restrictions on RIFs.

I don't think gears will be an issue with a 7.4v LiPo, it's roughly equal in performance with an 8.4v NiMh, and I've used those for years without problems

Tacmaster: Closer to a 9.6v actually, but having run 11.1v LiPo's for the hell of it in the firehawk recently, yeah it'll handle 7.4's easily.

The SOPMOD Block 1/2 kits are mostly off the shelf parts kits, but as JCheese says the MK18 Mod O and Mod 1 are the Navy designations for the CQBR (although the CQBR itself is a modified M4 and has since been removed from the SOPMOD programme and has a development program in its own right). Block 1 and 2 aren't better or worse either, just that Block 2 has some newer bits.
