Good stuff, esp for 1st go. With blogs it's def a hard to find balance between personal and informative, and how specific the topic is. Essentially to provide enough information/statistics etc to not be waffling on, but keep it personal enough to not be a cold fact-sheet. you said it's not a review, but all blogs are a review of sorts. I'd suggest a little bit more info/stats and would been perfect. as for getting people to follow it, only way is to shamelessly promote it

I must admit I did find it hard to stay on topic with the webbing and instead veered off and ended up re-writing the whole post to be about it's links to my start in airsoft as I was well aware I couldn't remember enough for a review that would do the platform justice. I'll re-visit the topic from a review perspective when I get my hands on a set again!
