I think I addressed your question I Googled for 10 minutes to no avail; given that I know very few people who'd use one of those un-usable carbine kits (let alone with only a G17), I'm not sure if there's much out there about someone using a WE with HE-style carbine kit. Time to send eHobby an e-mail.

most carbine kits are for the 18c, and why would they wear more? if you talking about bb's through them then yeah they may as you will fire a similar number of bb's just in a shorter period of time, but wear should be at the same rate i would have expected.

There are a whole host of carbine kits for the G18c - if you were to go for the G18c, then I'd say it's worth spending the extra on a TM model.

Definitely get the Marui version,

You can get a metal slide for it, plus they don't cool down easily.

TMs and metal slides do not go well easily. gas efficiency goes out the window.

KWA glock is pretty old. Nice, but they've replaced it with the ATP now. I have one and its brilliant. There is also an Auto version (G18) out soon.

You should check out the Marui Mp7 AEP, it's pretty good for CQB. Plus you could buy a few batteries and magazines.

gutted, does a shemagh or scrim net count at your site? I personally get on far better with those than the masks.

Under 18's require full face protection, whether its a shemagh, scarf, etc

Whereas under 16's have to wear a full face mask or goggles and a half mask
