Drive by update: skirmished yesterday - 1 spectacular shot / did the target take the hit? no... fuck him, i saw the smug "i'm out of range" expression on his face change dramatically as he scrambled back behind some barrels lol - but now... oh the pain!

Oh no, this was dead centre mass: i saw it hit his PC and he was carrying his gun low with muzzle down anyway - with a cross wind blowing between 2 differently shaped piles of barrels and also some netting; target at about 85m; opposition shooting at me from about 45m from my 10 o'clock; i had to roll out from behind some 1m high netting to take the shot because I couldn't get a decent bead on him just leaning around it - relying on strangers to keep the bloke firing at me's head...

couldn't train today - shoulders & pecs hurt too much / need to dial back on the weight & increase reps / i'll do some stretches with light dumbells before i go to bed to prevent too much stiffening

for those following my attempts to return to skirmish fit - back in the gym today 1hr10mins start & end on cardio 147BPM heart rate average plus crunches / legs x4 execises / pecs / shoulder press / chest press - felt like training on an injury but hey ho that's what 2 days off does i spose

day 3 in the gym - 45mins / 35 cardio / 10 on a crunch machine - had to cut short to go to hospital appt / feels better today even tho i hurt

day 2 in the gym - 1hr 10mins heart rate above 140 / took me an hr munching biccies & smoking fags to recover enough to walk home!

i know it sounds stupid mate but the best thing for gym is water and lots of it. drink an extra 500ml of water 2 hours before exercise and it will hel you keep hydrated.

it's a minicipal leisure centre so they just have a vending machine for chocolate crisps and coffee/tea / I gave a bloke who works there a tenner for a bit of 1on1 so yeah, i've had the water stylee n ting speech - been doing a litre over the 2hrs before and another litre during - thx tho, it all helps
