Makes me think they mean the entire tracer functionality, not just the external flash LEDs. Which is what I want!

Sorry yes, maybe I have confused you - I am just looking for the 'lever' to turn the entire 'tracer' unit on and off - not just 1 element. So if the lever does turn it on/off thats perfect for my needs

It has only just shipped from Asia. I doubt you can switch off. I will probably just cut the traces to the LEDs that make this happen.

I have a standard Xcortech X301 which is auto off/on and battery life is fine.

Thanks for that, I note the 'Sixmm' website states it can be turned on/off by the lever on the PBS...but it seems to be the only site that states this, everywhere else says its auto on/off

5KU PBS-1 Silencer with Spitfire Tracer (Will probably disable the muzzle flash feature)

    8x PTS EPM Mags

    3x Lonex AK Flash Mags

I've been looking at the PBS-1 - can you confirm if you can switch this on/off when you want to use it? I'm not a fan of the type that are 'on' and activate on movement, they always seem to drain quickly for me. Whereas my ASG and TM tracers are a simple on/off button which work very well.

Up to Catterick for my first milsim with Stirling Events - On OPFOR, had a fun time right up until around 7PM when I fell into a foxhole and royally fucked my back :(

Definitely just muscular so I'm not too worried, but very frustrating as I had to sit the rest of the game out.

    Ouch - sounds painful.

    29 or Barn area?

  5. The 'real' rifle is a H&K 416, lots of companies make a copy of it, less so with the geissele style rail. TM, VFC, CYMA, WE, EA, UMAREX (which I think is a VFC Rebrand) and G&G

I would stay away from anything Nuprol.

Not seen much EA stuff so cannot comment on it.

I've owned the G&G 416 and it was good (to my standard anyway). I currently own the TM 416 (with the geissele rail) and like it.

  6. This thread does seem odd. Tbh as long as what other people do does not affect my weekend / game day then fill your boots. All I ask is you adhere to the rules and take your hits and im happy. Outside of that, if you wanna collect guns, patches, wear a hoody, run high caps, run low caps or whatever, its your hobby, if you're happy then who am I or anyone else to judge

Edit - And in regards to the thread title (not that the comment was aimed at me but its currently a slow work day...) Why do we need to understand? If it makes the person happy doing X, Y or Z...then it shouldn't matter really

You've got a few now, is it the recoil element which attracts you or Marui quality?

For me its both, I like the build quality, the recoil, the out the box performance.

Ive had, AK102, CQBR, SCAR L, SCAR H, DELTA, AK47, MP7, really enjoyed them all. I've had plenty of other non TM brands which were great but I do like TM

Exsqueeze me ?, How is being under or overweight an indicator of someone's service in the military, when I served I was fitter than a butchers dog, but between injuries & the passage of time means I've put on some timber, for some it's almost inevitable.

Thats exactly my point. you're now not serving and can be however big or small you like. My other point is 90% of airsofters tend to kit themselves up as special forces or at least some tier above standard military + normally they arent UK units, at least based on the MILSIMS or sites ive been to so even if someone was dressed to the nines as Seal team 6, the fact they are about 14 or 34 but with a massive beer gut hanging over their shooters belt, proves they couldnt walt even if they wanted to

Having said all that, I've never worn unit patches or rank that are 'real'. I once got called out on Reddit for being being a walt because I had a glock photo with the SEAL Team TV show patch next to it....which blew my mind

  9. Ive never served (outside of Air Cadet Special Forces) but to me, wearing unit patches is fine, non serving people do it for re-enactment so why is airsoft any different. For airsoft, wearing rank is odd to me as its got nothing to do with the loadout whereas correct gear and unit patches do. However, I will say, I dont get how people can Walt in airsoft as I'd say only 5% of airsofters even have the physique that could at a glance pass off as anything remotely in shape. Most are either overweight or a 12yr old bean pole.

Because we all know it's just an excuse to sell a non working RIF or accessory and claim "Well I was told that's all that was needed to get it sorted "

I will say that apart from putting stuff on the outside of my rifles, I wouldn't have a clue about doing anything internal and tbh, I have no 'want' to learn. I will always take my stuff to CAMO or Eagle6 to get fixed/upgraded. I will say if I ever did sell something that needed work, my thought process would be it would cost me  more to get fixed which I wouldn't get back in the sale so would rather knock off an amount to get a quicker sale.

Having said all that, I havent ever sold anything that isnt 100% working purely because I cant be dealing with potential after sale headaches

Can anyone recommend some decent component brands that don't cover everything in RGB lighting as soon as it pops up a level in performance? I'm looking at a new CPU/MoBo/RAM and everything is just covered in bloody lights!

Most stuff these days is RGB, however, just turn it off in software
