  5. https://www.usedairsoft.co.uk/rif-s/electric-powered/gg-preditor-high-speed-build_i48895 I believe the AFUK term is "wanker gun" 😂 45+ rps "in its prime" (supposedly "was/still is" capable of that no mention whatsoever of measured FPS or J "£20 max fix" to get it working 🤔 it just "needs some love" 🙄 And the crème de la crème... TIL as soon as you stop playing airsoft, you lose not only any repair skill you had, but also lose the ability to get anyone else to do repairs for you. Who knew?! 🤪
  6. So... the username in the picture doesn't remotely match your username here, neither does the timestamp? What's up with that? 🤔
  7. Sounds like you're painting a target on your own back 🎯👀😂
  8. 😂😂😂 Still keeps that BS on his "Andy Page" Used-Airsoft ads, though
  9. Another pie-in-the-sky dreamer post from @avenger63... https://www.usedairsoft.co.uk/rif-s/gas-powered_1/brand-new-tokyo-marui-colt-government-1911-mk-iv-series-70-nickel_i48872 [citation needed] 😂 So... £160 collected (£170 posted) from Mr. "no warranties, refunds or returns" / "only accept PayPal friends or bank transfer due to scammers removing parts etc" ... ... or £165 brand new with warranty, ability to return/refund if needed/wanted, and solid service from a reputable retailer who has plenty in stock 🤔
  10. It's another equivalent of @avenger63's "I’m not a retailer so no warrantees, refunds or returns" thing -- basically trying to claim that if it's posted, it's at. the buyer's risk (and their problem) if it gets lost or damaged during shipping. Unfortunately that kind of person erroneously says this when *they're* the ones posting it -- so the contract is to deliver is between them and RM/Parcelforce/courier -- meaning the buyer often can't do anything, and it's up to the seller to claim for any lost/damaged parcels, and the liability remains solely with the seller. Is that lanyard... cable-tied on?! They've not even cut down the tail on the cable tie... 🤦‍♀️😂 Maybe that's where there £200 comes in -- a totally custom, unique, one-off lanyard attachment system... 🤔
  11. Indeed - while 1.17J is 300 FPS on a 0.28g g BB, with 0.2 g BB's it's just shy of 355 FPS.
  12. I wouldn't worry -- just because someone doesn't communicate well on social media, doesn't necessarily mean the site is badly-run. For example, I know some sites where regular players / marshals answer the Facebook messages, as they're on Facebook a lot more than the site owners/operators. A quick search brings up their Facebook page, which lists thesiegeproject.com as their website. https://www.thesiegeproject.com/info says: Not every site has an amazing site or social media team -- it's not unusual to find sites or links out of date, or pages not having the most up-to-date info -- they're focussing more on playing and running the site than anything else, and tbh some folk just don't "get" how important accurate online info can be, especially for prospective/new players. Hope that helps 😊
  13. Yup, pretty mediocre for a pink one like that. Has the basic form, but none of the detail. Still, at ~£100, there's much less worry about dropping or scratching it You'd be better Cerakoting a Detonics .45 or something.
  14. Ricochets counting depend site-to-site, likewise how knife-kills are handled -- but giving them a chance to surrender aside, it's generally higher back/shoulder area, and the knife generally has to be a rubber one that can be bent 90º -- no stabbing folk in the delicate or squishy bits
  15. How hard is it to make even semi-relevant comments, even "that's a nice gun" in the "what've you bought recently" thread, or just general replies in countless off-topic posts? I mean, come on 🤣 (Bots: don't get any ideas 👀)
  16. If it helps you get a sale, both Royal Mail and Parcelforce have "collect from your home" offerings, as do a number of couriers - might be an option if you're unable to go out
  17. Most places are "profit-oriented" ... that's called capitalism. Even if other places appear to place more focus on customer satisfaction, at the end of the day they literally wouldn't exist without making profits.
  18. Conversely, I've seen Specsavers damage folks' eyes by saying they could sleep in contact lenses that weren't suitable for continuous wear -- and that while Vision Express may be pricier in some cases, the customer service is a lot better. Depends then "the past" is, but on the basis of NHS eye tests generally being every 2 years, everything is quite a bit more expensive now. 😞 The issue with NHS vouchers is they basically cover standard lenses and the eye test, nothing more -- so while opticians will have a selection of "free" frames with the voucher, or ones that are x amount cheaper with it, it's not always a massive saving -- as they obviously can't claim it all back.
  19. Nothing specifically "from" sci-fi... just some of my more "regular" guns that've made some sci-fi appearances: SPAS-12 Ghosts of Mars, Jurassic Park, The Matrix, RoboCop, The Terminator, and a bunch of others - pretty iconic shotgun. Remington Model 870 Chappie, Elysium, Jurassic World, Terminator Salvation SV Infinity Cowboy Bebop the Movie, The Host (2013) SIG P226 Edge of Tomorrow, Terminator: Genesis, Terminator: Dark Fate, Transformers vz. 61 Skorpion Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Equilibrium, The Matrix, Resident Evil: Retribution, Snowpiercer, Virus (1999) Walther PPK Inception Vorpal Bunny Not from a movie (rather, an anime - Sword Art Online / Gun Gale Online), but I do love it 💖 Now as for the list of sci-fi movie guns I'd like to get... that could be a whole thread on its own 🤣
  20. Absolutely, I'm not saying otherwise -- I did say he was rather good -- but it's worth baring in mind if OP is looking for a relatively quick fix / turnaround, that Negative won't be the quickest -- but is absolutely one of the best 😊
  21. AIUI the only restrictions were in the US, because it didn't have the required markings to be sold there? Certainly never seen any restrictions on (or attempts to restrict) sale in the UK... 🤷‍♀️ Ares internals are nice, but the proprietary nature and VFC-esque quality otherwise may put a lot of folk off, and Negative certainly didn't like it 😅 I'd say the price mentioned above really depends on finding the right buyer... and perhaps isn't as realistic to hope for as you put across.
  22. Alas, while rather good, his quoted normal turnaround time is 6-12 weeks... and there is already a fairly big list of folks waiting atm... https://negativeairsoft.com/waiting-times/
  23. I'm not offering her one, I'm still on the (long) hunt for one myself 😂 -- just sharing the realistic sadness that it'll be $$$$$$, or spray a regular P90 (heresy IMO, but an option nevertheless) For about half the price you could get the likes of the Krytac P90, which would I'd imagine handle green gas, etc. better than the TM... 🤷‍♀️
  24. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but... unfortunately you're going to realistically pay fairly close to that -- they were a limited run, some time ago. You'd save a lot of money (and have a much better chance of the whole "pink P90" thing) picking up a regular P90, and painting it -- I know it's not the same *at all,* but it's definitely more accessible, both in stock and without costing an arm and a leg Even the Vorpal Bunny can go for £400-500+, so you're going to struggle enough to find the pink P90, never mind for a significantly lower price... You'll likely be paying 2-3x the original purchase price, basically down to the limited run and relative rarity / infrequency of them coming up for sale these days.
