  1. Scratch that There was no use of "could" It's a clear suggestion
  2. Not sure encouraging players to break site rules (no matter how ridiculous you believe that rule to be) and just accept a ban if/when it happens is a good look. Everyone should play by the rules if you don't like the rules find another site. It's pretty simple.
  3. I've heard some horror stories about Wolf Armories might want to do a bit of reading up on them beforehand. Does your regular site not have a tech? Perhaps they or another regular there might have a contact. Would definitely be worth asking around next skirmish you're at.
  4. Not strictly true. The US Military has reportedly developed a jab that works against all currently known variants and supposedly all future variants. Time will tell of course, but humans are capable of incredible feats especially when there's a strong enough incentive at play.
  5. I'm based in Harlow, Dragons Lair and Airsoft Plantation / Tower will be my regular skirmish sites. Thanks for the welcome everyone.
  6. Personally I have no issues with high ROF in and of itself. But when someone is slapping a 2000 round box mag on a 60 rps assault rifle that might be a problem. If someone wants a bullet hose fine but they should have to deal with the inconvenience of changing mags. My AEG hits 20+ RPS on a 7.4v lipo and it's great for getting heads down but it burns through mags frighteningly fast I will slap an 11.1v in there at some point and that should get me around 35 RPS but I'm not the sort to run box mags. If I want to get someone's head down it's great but I shouldn't be able to keep it there without having to change mags indefinitely. In summary high ROF is fine but you should suffer the drawbacks that it should bring. Just my 2p
  7. If you have access to some digital calipers and have a few springs laying around this might be a quicker easier way to tell. Different springs will yield different FPS in different guns so it's not always a reliable way to tell. I validated this guy's findings on a few springs I have laying around (still in packaging) and so far so good. Have a little read:
  8. Hey everyone Just dropping a post in here to say hello! Started Airsofting many moons ago was pretty active on the ASCUK boards back in the day. Then I got married and ended up drifting away from the sport for a while (10 years!) My kit has been gathering dust up in the loft for all those years. Recently a friend of mine has got the bug pretty bad, as a result I'm now fully back involved. Used to do a bit of teching back in the day a lot has changed but a lot hasn't just recently finished bringing my old M4 back from the dead (one of the reasons I stopped) now she purrs like a kitten with all new internals and a shiny new Titan MOSFET (what a great bit of kit they are!) Looking forward to getting stuck right back in again. I forgot just how much I love this sport. Great way to keep fit as well the 10 years off haven't been kind to my physique! Running round like a nutter in the woods will make short work of that I have no doubt! Anyway it's good to be back look forward to seeing some of you on the field!
  9. Not sure if you found anyone but the post isn't that old. I'm not the most experienced tech you'll find but I live in Harlow and I'd be willing to take a look for you. I signed up to reply to this after finding the post by searching for "Airsoft Tech Harlow" in Google Market research and all that 😆
