  1. It was down near the hospital (and honestly, having people hanging out for a smoke so close to the play area was a bit weird).
  2. Unfortunately I had to bugger off (very) early so can't speak for the whole day. Quite a lot of kids and rentals playing today. Briefing wasn't bad, did cover MED for bolties/DMRs (30m, both at the same joule limit as mentioned before). Full auto limited to two second bursts. Maybe three, it changed midway through. Not five, five is right out. The briefing did cover hit taking, as apparently two weeks ago it was absolutely abysmal... Not much change to report in the site itself, everything felt a bit too open and the arrangement of some objectives relative to structures favoured one side over the other. Hit taking still felt a bit meh.
  3. Going to pop along there this Sunday as it's only down the road and I've not had a chance to get out in bloody ages, I'll see if it's improved any. Interestingly their Facebook claims it's a 500/2.32j limit for bolties and DMRs alike, so I'll be the guy with the cracked gearbox at the end of the day...
  4. Depends if you're ever going to use the bugger or just hang it on the wall! Getting one of these up towards the usual bolty FPS is a bit of a pain (literally, after cocking it a few times), what with the short spring and everything.
  5. I've JUST realised what's bugged me about this thread, all day since I saw it this morning. Couldn't put my finger on it at first. *arsehole
  6. I was googling about for one of those today! I was going to steal an axe from my kid's fireman costume for Saturday but after giving myself a test whack in the head with it I concluded that it fucking hurts to be hit in the head with and probably wouldn't be allowed.
  7. I think you've summed up your own thread there.
  8. I do! Not had any issues, it doesn't feel much different to wearing the baseball cap without. Although, that said, my baseball cap is slightly too tight anyway...
  9. I've got a boxed set of Tremors DVDs somewhere! It's old though, it only goes up to the Wild West one...
  10. It's worth a look in the cylinder if you haven't already - the cylinder and head are welded together on these to make a single unit, and there's a shock absorbing pad at the end of it that on mine had left a bit of material in the nozzle that needed poking out. Interested to know if you do find a potential replacement though, I've not actually measured it up to go looking!
  11. Do they have a cylinder head that'll line up properly with the offset nozzle? Also, if you ever take off the wrong side of the fire selector and lose the metal ball bearing that makes it click into place due to being a fat handed twat, you'll want a 2mm one as a replacement. Sincerely, a fat handed twat
  12. Weirdly enough I was thinking about airsoft at Electrowerkz just this morning! ...though I only ever went there on a Friday or Saturday night, rather than for pew pews.
  13. Logically then, you should next hook it up to an 11.1 lipo and make yourself a lasgun. Or a hot melty mess.
  14. More of a quote than a summary: "If I give it a bit of a shake, it'll go to semi."
  15. Surely you're not suggesting I add a touch more Farage?
  16. I picked up mine for pretty much the same reasons! Got frustrated at the UK retailers not having any in stock, waited a while, finally pulled the trigger and imported one only for the retailers to start stocking it whilst mine was delayed in customs. Not had a chance to fire mine yet (I went for the OD version too because obviously), but here's the offending rail/barrel. There does seem to be a left bias, but I'm not sure if that's just because I'm expecting one and held the camera like a fool. How cockeyed was yours in comparison? When I've actually had a chance to take it outside I'll let you know if it flies off target and hits the neighbour's cat instead of the target.
  17. That's why I chose to rehome an unwanted shipping container - it now lives a happy life up the end of my garden. Remember, shipping containers are for life, not just for Christmas (gifts).
  18. Also, it's fucking ebay, it's an auction mate. Why would I want an early cash sale unless I was convinced nobody was going to bid the asking price? Because clearly I'm that much of an idiot that I'd list it with an initial bid price that nobody is going to pay... Someone just bid 160 quid anyway, get in.
  19. I'm selling some board games and miniature stuff on ebay right now. "What's the cheapest you'll accept for this?" "Well I listed it with a starting bid of 150 quid, so... 150 quid." "I only want it for spares." "OH THAT MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE LET ME SELL IT TO YOU FOR A TENNER."
  20. There wasn't any danger of it actually reaching his eye from there as he was wearing decent eyepro (and they do insist upon it), I was just describing the position as being probably the unluckiest place to take a round as that bit of his nose was the only uncovered bit of his face. I'm expecting a full Mandalorian style mask next time
  21. I see all your points and do agree with them, but what about beer?
  22. Good shout, I'll add to this one after I've done the visits. In the mean time I'll see if I can get my sweaty mitts on a different RIF to use next time, and possibly some anti fog stuff for my goggles as with the humidity it was like playing underwater at some points.
