Am now the latest member of the MWS owners club.
I really need to stop taking lunch breaks, they're expensive.

I've got an invite to the ukapu game day and AGM at z mart Newbury.
Are any forum members going?
I've never been there but looking at the website gallery it seems to be quite a challenging venue.
Are there any regular players that can give any advice?
I also get the impression from the in game pics that it's maybe a speed soft type of play?
Anyway maybe see you there🙂👍
Regards

Park in the Kennet Centre car park, can’t remember what weekend prices are like but it’s £2 after 6 on a Thursday.
Zmart’s next door, go out the first exit of the Kennet Centre and there’s a plain white fire exit door on the right, that’s the entrance.
If the shutters are down when you head home there’s a door over by the traffic lights that reads your ticket to unlock it. The shutters will go up as you drive out.
Hopefully you have as much fun as I do there 👍

Not had an invite, but then I don't think I'm signed up to ukapu so it's hardly surprising 😂
They're a good bunch at Z-mart, I'm yet to have a bad day there. It's not all speedy-bois but due to the nature of the site it's pretty fast paced as the distance between the action and respawn is not far at all. Expect to be shot a lot and at far closer distances than you'll have had outside, the usual game for my two boys is to count the hits on me the morning after - I don't wear a plate carrier so can look like I've done 10 rounds with a swarm of mozzies 😂
The venue used to be Debenhams, it's on two floors and there's two stairwells at the sides and an escalator (not working) in the middle which can be a choke point if people have forgotten about the stairs 😂. As it's dark there's plenty of hidey-holes if you're feeling sneaky or you can charge about spraying BBs as you go, it's whatever you want it to be. There are points where you'll have a long line of sight and others where you're going around a 90 degree bend in a corridor wide enough for one.
I'd recommend weapon lights and tracers, but as a minimum you'll need a torch.

Just filled in the paperwork for my UKARA. Exactly 56 days between the first three games! How's that for good planning?

Damn you black friday and your sales 😆

Someone please help me (with my mental illnesses)...
I'm buying a Land Rover!

Best P226 out there?

Imagine you're starting a new airsoft site. What would you get for rental rifles?
Whatever you pick, it would have to be:
- Good value.
- Sturdy enough to withstand new and inexperienced players.
- Average performance and range with great consistency.
- Extremely reliable.
-Built well enough to not require fussing over and servicing every day.
- Ideally, just works straight out of the box.
What would you pick?
(Yes, this is a roundabout way of saying I'm in the market for a new gun and I need advice lol)
-
Think my local site uses Specna SA-E02's. I accidentally ran into a wall with one in my pre-UKARA days and it seemed to be none the worse for wear for it. When I wasn't running into walls it did it's job pretty well, although playing in the dark without a tracer meant I had no idea where the BBs were going most of the time 😂

Who runs their tm gbb mp7 on low power gas over the summer. How well does it perform?
-
Just tried using my current sling on the MP7. No amount of adjustment’s going to make it work.
Any recommendations?
-
Have a 2-point slingster thanks to a prior recommendation here. Just found there’s a 1-point version which could be the thing (albeit an expensive thing).
The current 1-point is a cheap didn’t-know-any-better bungee that got swapped for the slingster on my 308, I was thinking of re-purposing but it doesn’t cut it.
Will check those out @Lozart, I think it definitely needs to be a sub specific sling.

That's exactly what I've got @Cr0-Magnon. What I should have said was that my sling's too long to comfortably switch to my sidearm and I can't get it short enough using the adjusters.

Hi all. Just need some extra eyes for something.
Can you guys take a look at this picture and tell me if these gearboxes/trigger mechanisms look the same/identical? -
Tracer unit suggestions anyone?
Need one for an upcoming tournament
-
Same as @strykerles. Have had issues with other AceTech tracers not having the described 'shake to wake' but no complaints with the Bifrost.

Might have just impulse bought a TM MP7A1 …
Not gonna regret that 😁

I'm starting out and enjoying airsoft with me son...Any advice would be great

Ordering a kydex mag holster to attach to a belt - but do I want to attach it using a malice clip or combat loop? Is one better than the other?

Ukara gained uncontrollable spending started 😭🤭

Glad I decided to test the tracer I just bought, while it works just fine it doesn’t ‘wake up’ when you give it a shake.
Got it off Amazon so it’s going back tomorrow … and a new one’s arriving tomorrow too

@Lozart that would have made more sense but I seem to have opted for form over function!
By the sound of it I may be in the market for another soon enough when this one inevitably breaks outside of its warranty period.
That said I’ve literally only just picked this one up so it may be going back yet 😂
