  2. Thanks for all the great ideas, I think I'm going to look into CYMA while at the same time maybe looking into modding the nuprol becuase by the sounds of it I could still make that into something good with a lot less money, thanks a lot :)
  3. @Lozart Thanks for the reply I was thinking about modding my nuprol but then I thought that there isnt much point becuase its not that great of a gun anyway and I would like a gun that is realllllllly nice to handle and shoot etc. For that price what sort of stuff would you recommend? For like £200-300? @Cr0-Magnon Thanks, I'll make sure to check it out Just scrolling though that video though the brands I know and can easily get and I never knew that CYMA were actually one of the best. I think I might do some research into them becuase from the sounds of it Krytac are super annoying and for someone like me it will be a pain haha. If I did buy a cheaper CYMA would the internals not be very good, and if yes what sort of thing would I need to make it a really nice gun to use? Becuase oviously if I get a cheaper gun I could spend the money to make it have good internals, is that a good idea?
  4. Hey, So at the moment I only have a really basic beginner gun that if I'm honest I'm not the biggest fan of the look of (nuprol delta pioneer defender) and the only really good gun I've ever used was a modded ares amoeba and I loved it. Anyway, I've been looking for ages over lockdown due to having load of time lol and I love the look and I've watched loads of reviews saying that the Krytac CRB MK2 is a super nice gun straight out of the box becuase I dont know much about guns and how to mod them I thought this would be a perfect gun that I could use for AGESS and not really need to get a better one, however its £350. Due to being a student I don't have a lot of money and I'll have just enough to get one however I know I really want to get into the game properly. I guess I just wanted to know if it is a massive waste to buy one as basically my first good gun just before we come out of lockdown to then use or should I do/buy something else that you would recommend? Thanks
  5. Thanks a lot to all the people who gave advice, I really appreciate it. I definitely think I'm going to wait and go airsoft and ask others about their guns and ask to have a go to see how I like them. Thanks again everyone
  6. I've got mags and a rig and everything I would just need the gun, mods + attachments and maybe a battery depending on the size of the battery slot. What are your thoughts on buying used? Bad idea? Also about guns, I've done a LOT of looking lol, because I like to do a lot of research before I buy something because I don't have a lot of money. Anyway I've done loads of looking on websites and I super like the look of the ares amoeba am-013 but as I said I don't really know anything about modding and my friend keeps saying that they rattle themselves to death and its heard some horror stories so it's a bit daunting buying a brand new gun instead of something already modded. However if I get a new one and upgrade it I'll learn what I wouldn't mind doing however I know that it is going to cost more money and take a while. @Shamal Thanks a lot for your reply, really useful, I've heard the motor is really bad in it stock, how much of an improvement did the new motor make?
  7. @GAMBLE @Druid799 Yeah you're probably right there, how much would u recommend to have before getting a gun?
  8. Yeah just my local airsoft shop. They run an airsoft field aswell so I trusted their judgement. My friend bought it for me as a gift for my 17th what was SUPER nice as he wanted me to go airsoft with him and I had no money at the time.
  9. Hey, So I really want to properly get into airsoft and I have a gun, the Nuprol delta pioneer defender. I was recommended it as a starter gun when I went to the shop but I just really am not a fan of the looks and performance of the gun because I was lucky enough to be able to try out someone's modded ares amoeba am-013 and it was SOOOOOOOOOOO nice! It shot super straight for ages and it was responsive, just a really nice feel, plus the honey badger is one of my favorite guns. Anyway its my 18th in a couple of weeks and I super want to get a gun with the money I'll get however I'm not totally sure what to do because I'm kinda broke lol. I know I'll have enough for a new ares amoeba am-013 and a few mods however I've looked at a lot of reviews and forums about the gun and people say that there are common gearbox issues and that the motor isn't very good and I'm just a little daunted? So now I'm a little worried that I will buy the gun and it will break on me. Is this a good idea to buy this gun and get a few mods and ask someone at a shop to do it for me or should I try and learn it myself, or should I go for something else? Thanks very much, Linton
