Functional is definitely the word. I have never understood why some people carry everything and the kitchen sink like they are going on a 3 week Op rather than 40 minutes of headless chicken firing into rooms and through windows. Is three mags overkill? Probably.

Warrior holster fits the P226 like an absolute dream! And attaches pretty easily to the front of the mag pouches without much wobble (black bungee still to threaded through to keep it all feeling solid). Appreciate all the advice 👍

I play at 3 different CQB sites, at one paintball style masks are the norm, at another everyone wears bump helmets with goggles and masks, at the third the fashion is a baseball cap, goggles and some kind of soft lower face protection. I think it doesn’t really matter which you opt for as long as you look like you mean business are are there to take some names. And obviously that your eyes are protected. Agree about mesh goggles, I would advise against shooting glasses etc because Sod’s law is a bb and bits of shit will get underneath and still get in your eyes.

I can see a bit of UMP in there. I think there is a reason only Ares make it... Although I will say that the stock is pretty nice. Makes a change from your standard M4 stock.

I mean feed as in the part that feeds the pistol (as opposed to where you fill the mag).

New to having a GBB, three of the four mags I have (bought it on the classifieds) fill, load, and feed really well (all WE). The TM mag that I presume is the one it was issued with seems to be leaking. When I fill it for 10-15 seconds it doesn’t seem to be taking any gas, and any longer than that just starts spraying out of the feed end (not quickly, I had to leave it to hiss away for about 10 minutes). It also doesn’t feed after the 10-15 second fill. Is this reparable/worth bothering with (considering I have other mags and if I ever need a fourth I’ll just get another WE for £20)?

Depending on the buyer, not washing them might up the price...

The fact the man is a tosser with an inferiority complex doesn’t invalidate that headshots are completely legitimate if all you can see is a head pop up through a window. As far as I can see it KM’s main advocacy is for cheat calling. Don’t compare me to KM, we will fall out very swiftly.

Have you used that setup of attachment on attachment in anger? My current thinking is to get a 9 notch rail and fit it to the lower side of the handguard and get a RIS handguard. More notches equalling more torsional strength and therefore less likely for bits to fall off in the middle of a fire fight.

1. Ban KM from all airsoft. 2. A dedicated prime time airsoft TV show. 3. 400FPS site limits. No minimum engagement. 4. Compulsory full face protection and the complete legalisation of headshots. 5. Sites open every evening, all day every weekend. None of this first and third Sunday of the month bollocks.

I don’t trust anyone that doesn’t exploit any opportunity to buy a new RIF. Got a DMR but the site doesn’t allow DMRs? Assault rifle! Assault rifle too long for CQB? Carbine! Carbine dead man clicks? MAC10! MAC10 doesn’t fit in a holster? 9mm! Don’t try and double up do you know what I mean? I would also ban all drum mags unless you have got 10kg plates inside that plate carrier so that you have the mobility and speed of a real gunner. Nothing more irritating than someone with an ARP9 giving it toes around the kill house with 2k rounds... 😡

Is that his little pet Nicco? For someone who makes a very big noise about being in 2 Rifles I can tell you that they have never heard of him... I would also query the kills/deaths markers that they include at the bottom of the videos. ‘Woah 33 kills and 1 death, this guy is the best airsofter that ever lived!’ I call bullshit. Very easy to edit out being shot up the arse with a G36 rental wielded by an 11 year old girl that weighs less than the RIF...

Not my RIF, I saw it on Reddit and just had to share the hideousness if this absolute abortion. Like the look of an SMG but not the magazine capacity? Do you enjoy a 25 round capacity but want your pistol to be unusable as a sidearm? You are in look guys, I have got just the RIF for you!

Team, Ideas on someone who stocks more then 3 KeyMod accessories? I want to fit a vertical grip (proper sized one, not some ‘compact’ useless bit of tat) and KeyMod does not seem to have taken off in popularity (someone did warn me that I should change to RIS because no one loves KeyMod and MLOK) For all other attachments I have RIS rails fitted to then hand guard for the sake of wider compatibility. But I would rather a grip be attached to the hand guard rather than an intermediary.

Agree RE: same site three times. Playing at the same site is boring and you just end up learning the map which for me removes most of the challenge. That said, unless you live somewhere with 52 airsoft sites law of averages would suggest you will play the same one three times within the required 12 months.

That’s a pretty unique holster! I would be interested to know how it fares in a game. I must be honest I have re-watched your video of you shaking the warrior holster about 5 times to reassure myself that it will hold my P226!

That’s top advice! Lockdown is just a killer, not able to play just results in the accumulation of an ever growing arsenal, and then the temptation to take them to pieces. I have definitely filled up the threads since the turn of the year having just lurked for 6 months previous (if you can’t play airsoft talking about it is second best). No doubt there will be another flurry of threads asking for advice on how to correct my tech errors if the PM doesn’t let us all out to play soon.

Brilliant intel that mate! I am sure there is a thread out there somewhere for ‘what modifications for an AEG’ 🤣 I am really resisting the urge to take it to bits to ‘see how it all works’ and start making changes but I am forcing myself to skirmish with it first before I do that because I will just end up taking it to a tech as a box of bits to get them to make it work again for me haha! (That said I also promised myself I wouldn’t buy another RIF until I have used my M4 in anger post lockdown and here we all are discussing holsters for the P226 I promised I wouldn’t get!)

i did have a look at a rotating holster but @Alimcd sold me with his video of the warrior and how securely it holds his RIF. I also have a moral objection to buying anything Israeli... but that is wayyy to political for AFUK forums haha! Having taken everyone’s advice onboard I think what I have ordered is a good solution; warrior holster to mount on the front of my M4 mags molle belt patch to go on the left side of my chest rig twin pistol mag pouches to mount on my left space for a grenade/Mk5 pouch behind the mag pouches

Its going on a chest mount so I think it will be better protected and less likely to get banged into stuff than on a belt or thigh rig. We shall see though. How do you mod an AEG to fire a three round burst? Is that a change to the gearbox? The trigger? I am pretty keen on getting the trigger mechanism changed at some point (probably not the first modification I will make, that will be a 30w motor so I can carry an 11.1 LiPo) so that the trigger sweep forward is much shorter. I think a universal holster was a great shout because realistically as soon as someone comes out with a reliable brownie hi-power I will be breaking open the piggy bank.
