I'm looking for an aftermarket receiver and outer barrel for a VSR like the AA or Maple leaf ones. Looking for right handed preferably in black. Barrel length does not matter, fluted/unfluted would all be fine. Thanks!

Looking for a TM P226 E2 slide (any TM compatible slide). Would also consider boneyard p226s or a complete slide & frame kit. Thanks!

Looking for a VSR stock as I broke mine. Preferably unpainted.

  4. After a long hiatus I'm going to try and attend some events so I got myself some Asolo fugitive GTX boots (£36 on eBay!) and a new Plate Carrier setup from a local shop. Pretty stoked to try out the boots as I've never owned a top quality pair before.
  5. Had a look and it seems fine, I'm using full AA internals that are almost new (<1000 rounds) so I don't think anything will be due to wear. Thanks for the suggestion though!
  6. So I'm aware it's a common issue for the cylinder head nozzle to wear on the AA chamber and I've seen people say it's not a big issue and is largely cosmetic. However, with mine it does seem actual material has been taken away and although it's not a lot, I slightly worry that it's going to be eventually turn into an issue. I have several options none of which are ideal, if anyone has any words of wisdom they would be much appreciated. First option: buy a vsr x/r or some other one piece receiver/outer barrel. This would presumably solve the misalignment issue but is obviously very expensive and I can't justify a £1000 toy gun. Second option: Cylinder sleeve, there is one on Longbow BB which seems decent. However I'm not even sure this would solve the problem, if anyone has any experience with this let me know. Third option: there's a guide on a popular forum for shimming the outer barrel to the receiver using fibre washers. However they need to be a very specific size and I can't find them in the UK at all. Also, I have tried holding the outer barrel firmly in place (mimicking the effect of shimming) and the nozzle still scraped the bottom of the chamber no matter which direction I applied pressure. Are vsrs simply not aligned properly or did I get a lemon or something?

Looking particularly for CYMA AKs and metal bodied m4s but will consider any. If you can, please describe what is broken and how much you want posted.

  9. That's a cool idea, maybe I could print something. I've only got a resin printer though, so might get a bit expensive if it's big.
  10. I don't take any offence to that and I think that's a very reasonable stance to take. I think it's a good thing that the community questions people who may be unknowingly (or knowingly!) breaking the law. Unfortunately I cannot provide absolute proof of my own defense here as it would require me to post personal information of myself and friends who I attend events with (bank transactions at UKARA Airsoft sites, testimony from friends and family and photos of me looking like a muppet at my local site).
  11. No one is talking about 'sidestepping' the VCR act so there's no problem.
  12. Almost all retailers require a UKARA membership to purchase RIFs from them. I do not have a UKARA membership so can only buy IFs from those retailers. However, since UKARA is not recognised by the home office, it is not the sole or indefinite means by which you can prove you have a valid defense. So it is perfectly plausible that I cannot generally purchase RIFs from those retailers even though I have a valid defense under the VCR. (I didn't really intend this post to be a debate about the VCR act but since it's somehow gone that way I feel justified in stating that I have two law degrees (LLB Law and LLM International Humanitarian Law) and I have a very solid understanding of our legal system including the VCR Act and I am 100% confident in saying that I have a valid defense.)

I am looking for a WE P226 E2 or any other TM compatible P226 with a metal slide and frame. It does not need to be in working condition.

  14. You can turn a IF into a RIF if you have a valid defence to the VCR so I'm all good
  15. Thanks for the suggestions, looks like finding a stock replacement is the way to go. I was also trying to find out if it would be viable to buy a TM clone with a metal slide like the WE f226 and just replace the internals with my TM ones. However, I'm not sure if they are 100% compatible or if it would require a lot of effort to make everything fit.
