  1. nice one, thanks for the recommendation on the nozzle!
  2. Haha yea good chance I will like it , and upgrades will be further down the line and likely when things fail, “if it ain’t broke” however I am thinking of adding the mosfet just for the protection and allow future use of 11.1v.
  3. So I think I have finally decided to get a cm.045c as my first rif. Seems fairly good out of the box but looking for upgrade/loadout recommendations. so far I’m thinking of installing a mosfet, most likely a DIY job purely for trigger protection/response. replacing the barrel and possibly hop up. loadout-just simple red dot, small fold away front grip as room may be an issue with aj style mags. cheers
  4. I shall have a look now, thanks. I currently have so many different rifs in baskets I just can’t make up my mind!
  5. Brill thanks for the replies, gives me a few more options to look at.
  6. So once things open up again I plan on playing a mix between cqb and outdoor (the vault and hardline) looking for a rif I could effectively use at both, currently thinking G&G arp9 or predator. Just wondered people’s opinions? cheers.

    Non Working/Parts

Yea that’s what I’m thinking. Thank you. Wouldn’t go building a RIF until I have my UKARA anyway which hopefully won’t be too long!

    Non Working/Parts

Just wondered where the law stands with purchasing parts of rifles that are regarded as non working etc? I love tinkering and can see me wanting to get heavily into tech. As I don’t currently have a UKARA as just starting would I still be able to buy boneyard parts/for repairs items. Not complete weapons as I assume they would still be classed as a rif. I mean just individual gearboxes etc just so I can strip down and tinker? cheers Zitch.
  9. Hi, just looking for site recommendations around the bury/Rochdale area. Obviously the vault is currently closed. All arms only operates on my weekends working unfortunately. I am thinking hardline may be my closest site that’s currently operating. Next one I can find is delta team 3 about 45 miles away. cheers.
  10. That’s a very good idea, once I have my defence I shall pick up something cheap to tinker and learn with.
  11. Thank you, great advice and shall take it on board. Can’t wait to get out there and actually get started. I think I’m just jumping the gun with my impatience! Haha. yea I had seen a few people recommend the ZCI. not entirely sure I will get the CM16 yet still loads of time to change my mind! It just fits in my current budget and I like the look of it.
  12. will do, thanks. I won’t be buying until well into the new year just can’t wait! Already making wish lists as long as my arm!
  13. sound advice, thank you very much. I have read and watched quite a few strip downs etc and I am an engineer by trade so confident I could carry out upgrades, I am just wary of the wear on plastic parts etc so wondered if upgrading (with the right skill set) would save a potential failure in the field. Are they fairly robust out of the box?
  14. Hi all, New here and just researching until I’m in a position to buy my first RIF. Im doing what I probably shouldn’t and window shopping! Really like the look of the G&G CM16 predator. Whether I do end up with this yet I don’t know, will see how I get on with rentals to begin with. Anyway my question is, would you recommend upgrading gears and shimming straight out of the box? Or wait until failure or mainly weapon dependant? cheers!
  15. Thank you. Thanks definitely learning quite a bit from what I’ve read so far! Just dying to get out there now!
  16. Hi, I am just looking to start in airsoft. I’m based near Rochdale. Reading the forum and learning a lot, can’t wait to get started!
