  1. Thank you all for the advice. I think what I might be looking for is this. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=iTH1DHKht_o Is anyone familiar with this gun or Inokatsu/Cybergun?
  2. Hello, I have just gotten my second G19X. The first was returned due to constant double feeds. The issue I am having now is that when I do an emergency reload the slide will not return and fire a BB because the tension spring dose not have enough strength to overcome the pressure my thumb is placing against the slide after depressing the slide release. I can not/will not modify my grip or manipulation of the firearm because I am using Airsoft as a RL training tool. Dose anyone know if, wear, or how I can modify the firearm to correct this issue. Thanks
  3. Thank you to everyone who replied. The boots are taken care of. Extra eye protection is a great idea I did not think of so thank you Tackle. Tommikka, you nailed it. I will be attending Overwatch 6 January 15-17th. https://doomsdayairsoft.com/events As for everyone who warned me that I may be getting in to deep for my first event. You ARE correct. I did that on purpose and purchased a press pass. If I feel am overwhelmed, I will take off my uniform, put on my Yellow work vest, and begin shooting the event in full cinema UHD. I own a drone/production company so if I am still playing in a year I will probably be sorting through footage for a YouTube channel. Since I am not going to get a refund or not go, I will take your great advice and use the 3 months I have to get on the field and I will definitely check out the suggested forums and Redit threads. Thanks again and if anyone has anything else or the new information has answered unanswered questions, I would love to hear more from your experiences.
  4. Hello everyone, I have signed up for my first ever Airsoft event. It is a 3 day Milsim and I also signed up for a helicopter mission and an undercover “JTF?” mission. I have read all the info that was sent to me, uniform and safety rules. Can anyone here explain to me how these things work? Any advice so I’m not running around being “that guy!”? Thanks

I don’t know that I have a story, I am just a guy from the USA. I joined this forum because it appears that UK laws have resulted in your Airsoft community being a lot more mature then those here.

If you are asking why I am here it is because 2 years ago I was almost shoot in a robbery. I decided my concealed weapons permit and my firearms did not belong in my nightstand but I did not feel people around me were safe when I carried it. I then started taking firearms classes at a school run buy a bunch of anti terrorist Israeli Secret Police-retired. Self defense went to room clearing, that went to building entry, that went to urban combat...  Next class I go to will involve a helicopter, repelling and hostage rescue from a prison. (the school is at an old prison the government put up for sale to the public in 2014.)

I have everything I need to play Airsoft, I purchased the Airsoft guns for dry fire practice. So, having spent all that time and money on acquiring those skills I now have a huge problem. Ether I can spend $1,200US on ammo, gasoline, range fees for a shoot room, etc, to shoot at paper targets or I can just let it all go and continue to pray that I have wasted my money on a skill I will never use.

Or I can take all my Airsoft stuff to an Airsoft field and have a “blast” shooting at thinking moving people who shoot back.

I have chosen cheap fun and here I am... Hello Airsoft World! :)

Thanks for reply. I really wasnt being nosy though but hey that's a cracking reason to get into airsoft.

Welcome to the mad house lol.

Sounds like you have picked up a useful set of skills as a result of your concerns about carrying a firearm which I am sure you will make good use of at an airsoft site.

Airsoft is fun if it's not taken too seriously.use your skills certainly,be as efficient as you want but dont ever believe you are in anything other than a game.

Do you mean mature as in we dont have loads of young kids playing our sites? Or mature as in mental age lol. Cant speak for the rest on here but I'm just a big kid lol

      Have fun,fire and flee.

      👍

      Regards
