Hi all, I'm looking at building a nice and quiet DMR and have been interested in the Tippmann Omega series - https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/tippmann-omega-pv-series-w-co2-stock?pv=14492 Has anyone got experience with these? What are the internals and reliability like? I want to run it with CO2 capsules for ease of use and it looks pretty quiet from the few vids i've seen.

Hi all, I have recently gotten an old (about 5 years) G&G T416. It's shooting about 310 fps but sounds like a sick dog, there's not much snap in the shot so I'm wondering if the motor might be on it's way out? Also if I leave it in single shot mode but don't actually shoot it for say 10 mins when I press the trigger nothing happens until I switch to full auto and then the triggers alive again, incidentally my MP5 does this any ideas why? I'm looking at spending approx £200 on parts for the G&G and will attempt the upgrade myself (how else do we learn). I'm thinking new motor, mofset and maybe a tight bore barrel but would be grateful for your suggestions. I don't want to exceed 320 fps so it can be used anywhere. Thanks in advance.

So there’s no point adding something like a TNT inner barrel? Would it not improve the accuracy much?

So I've decided to bite the bullet and when I can find one in stock get the A2 Covert. I want to be able to use 0.48's in it with decent FPS and hit at similar range to my VSR - 10 (80+ metres) but most importantly I want it to be nice and quiet. Here's what I've come up with so far, will this work? SRS A2 Covert 16" .338 suppressor with .308 muzzle break Rapax 2J Spring WASP Piston (is there another variation similar to this as it's out of stock?) Some sort of bucking but not sure what type is appropriate here Things I'm not sure I need - Hop system? Nub? Thanks in advance.

Thanks steve. A few more noob questions if I may? So if I buy the A2 covert it comes with a .308 muzzle brake. To make it compatible with the .338 silencer is it just a case of buying the .338 muzzle brake converter? I’m guessing this is purely cosmetic and doesn’t change how the rifle operates?
