  1. Sometimes a shit day and pay day coincide, and you make some potentially questionable decisions. Let's see how this plays out 🤷‍♂️.

The convenience of such an easy to adjust length of pull is such a boon in my eyes, and why I find any sort of fixed length stock hard to get on with (unless it just happens to be the right length for me, which is where the 'we'll see' stems from with the triangle stock). I'm aware it's very much a topic largely looked at along the lines of memes, but for me personally there is method in the madness. I'm all for a RIF looking as nice as it can, while maintaining awareness that beauty is very much in the eye of the beholder, but I tend to take function/comfort over fashion in most instances. Fashion tends to come in once there are a few options that offer the same solution to a problem, i.e. Zenitco stock versus AR stock. At this point in time I just prefer AR stocks, though I'd be lying if the associated cost isn't contributed in there somewhere.

i've never really put much store in the length of pull argument. if anything i find it the reverse- having adjustability means spending ages trying to settle on the "right" amount and never really being happy with it, whereas full length stocks are much less distracting- you just use it as-is and deal with it.

i'm reminded of the inrangetv argument for adjustable length of pull that a lot of folk have their adjustable stocks set pretty damn close to the original sp1 stock length (on ar's at least)

same with cheek/chin weld, although granted a standard triangle folder with the pk1 is more of a beard weld so that doesn't count :P

That sounds an awful lot like folks who are set in their ways trying to preach/justify why they don't want to step into the current decade of tech :P, the 'nyet rifle is fine' brigade if you will... though they're certainly not limited to AKs. You can fish for a justification for anything if dig deep enough, in my eyes having the option to adjust is better than not, ultimately pretty damn close ≠the same. Hence the waiting to try out the triangle folder (for a day of playing, not just clearing rooms around the house) before swapping it out, if it's fine as is then there's no reason just change anything... granted a correct/comfortable LoP is something I hold quite high on the priority list. I have a pair of not so pristine shoulders and the difference in aches and pains between a day playing with LoP correct for me versus not is not insignificant. I can see how it's less of an issue for those that have never found much of a difference.
