  1. Found myself with a huge amount of renewed excitement to get back to some CQB once able (next year at this point), fancy picking up a smaller 'primary'. I'm currently between a TM MP7, ASG MP9 or a fancy Hicapa. The latter of which likely drawing my interest more than the others at present, largely because it'd be an entirely new thing to me as someone that historically isn't a 'pistol guy'. It's nice to have things to look forward to.

Chomping at the bit to get back into CQB as well. I have done exactly the same thing. I run BASR outdoors but the first lockdown turned my head towards hi capas and running out with one of those indoors is immense!!! I've since enjoyed the aggressive playstyle so much I've rediscovered battle rifles in normal skirmishes to curb the need for indoor pistol action until the indoors are open again.

Keep your fingers crossed, it'll come. When it does, you'll love it.

Aye, I'm in a bit of weird spot atm trying to look into the future of when I'll actually be able to play again. Site wise I'm in weird spot with where I live, within roughly an hours drive there are 4 sites. 1 woodland, 1 mixed and 2 CQB.

The woodland site has been my favourite site I've attended since living up this way, only really issue being it's only open for half the year due to health and safe/insurance as far as I can gather... which is reason I've since parted with my BASR. The mixed one I wasn't a huge fan of, partially down to how it was run and how the games were put together. The site itself is great, but I've played there a few times and never come away excited to go back.

As for the CQB sites, one of which I've attended and wasn't a massive fan of, the other is only 20 minutes away but I'm yet to attend. It's run by the same folks that run my favourite woodland site up this way, so I'm very excited by the prospect of that becoming 'home' once able to play again. Though I do fear I'm in dangerous territory having picked up a Dye mask and very much leaning toward running a Hicapa as a primary, the only real thing standing in the way of it at present is my brand new obsession with the AM LimCat slides and the fact none of colours left in stock anywhere tickle my fancy. I've held off sending Mike at ESC an email thus far, but my resolve is certainly waning 😅.

@alxndrhll Where abouts are you? You've described a locality very similar to me?

Regards Elite Shooting Centre. I have ordered a couple of things from him, recently soured by me expressively confirming a particular part was available and then him sending me a totally different part wrapped in packaging from the manufacturer I wanted (but different part on the card) and then denying they weren't the parts I ordered, literally gave 0 fucks and wasn't apologetic at all when held to account for this. Haven't ordered since.

I'm now ordering direct from Rainbow8, takes a couple of weeks but the saving is worth it and being as there isn't any CQB open I don't mind not having the parts instantly. The choice and availability is amazing.
