CQBR? Good choice. CQBRs don't have to be tacticool modern either
Also, adding a carry handle is a LOT easier. Changing outer barrels on the MWS is a faff

So to add to this issue in case anyone suffers the same:
Strip and clean trigger box. Inspect your springs. I replaced ALL of mine as I had a old Dytac set for nearly 4 years. Some springs had actually compressed and failed. Relube with thin weight oil. No grease. Give a small spray of silicone oil on top once reassembled
Now having zero issues with Semi auto run on. Even readjusted my adjustable trigger and sears and works lovely.
Figured I put a means to an end some if someone searches for this issue.

Looks like its made for flat hop / R hop style hop rubbers. A 3d printed version of Maple Leaf's omega Nub
Different nubs work best with different rubbers. The SiXG will probably always work best with your normal mound type rubbers.

Not all of them do. TM's are often optimised for 0.25's. Its kinda luck of the draw if they lift a .28g
My MWS's nub was so squishy, it would hardly lift a 0.28. I had it torn down the first week I owned it to replace the nub for a solid H style one.

Blimey thank you. This will save a lot of agro and certainly help stop people hijacking accounts

This is normal. Every MWS does this. You can shave it down and smooth it off, but it will return. Its where the bolt hits the buffer stop

Just in the process of speaking to the Forum admins.
Ive had a recent breach of security on my account. And a very dodgy advert was posted under my account.
Of which the admins have done their job. But the actual guilty party here now has had been told off for something Ive not done. (Dont take this the wrong way, as stated speaking to Jedi_Master on this)
A lot of places do 2 factor authentication. Im not sure if a system can be put in place for here? Its saved my accounts many times before for gaming etc.

Can some one confirm for me what type of barrel nut fits the upper? (I know you need an adaptor ring, ive got one on mine right now)
I see some MWS's with AEG on them. So im slightly bamboozled. Or will the MWS fit AEG and GBB barrel nuts?
Trying to hunt down a new rail for my PDW idea.
Said Idea: MC6 PDW. I fancy doing some thing similar. I have the G&P stock, just trying to find a nice M lok rail.

I have 3 on the way from here:
https://paintball-online.com/
And 2 on the way from rainbow 8, Rainbow 8 will only ship 2 mags to the UK due to weight limits.
I also saw on Discord some one found some on Amazon?
Ill let you know about the ones from PBO, Should be with me by next week.

Been a while since I’ve added here. This thing still giving me jip!
Rear slung mounted added. Part of the back plate replaced after a little bridge over the stock broke.
Ive modified the bolt slightly, grinding material away with a deremel to increase bolt lock reliability.
All mags are now have been serviced. New base plates O rings fitted thanks to Eagle 6, plus a smear of RTV. I put WAY too much in some last time.

Ill help:
1. The green gas mod may see a very slight increase of power. How ever stock MWS on Nuprol 2 is well within field limits. Bump it to 3.0 for winter use. If thats still not what you are after. There are NPAS kits which you drop into the nozzle which will help regulate FPS to your desired level
2. Not right away. But buy one as a spare, whether OEM part or a uprated spring set is handy.
3. The first hop mod you'll need is a better nub to lift more than a .25-.28, most of us here will run a SiXG Brass nub. Works great with the stock rubber or a modify tan rubber
4. Other than the SiXG Nub, thats it. Thats all you *really* need to do to get the gun to perform well.
EDIT: These are all obviously my 2 cents. Other peoples will differ

Guess it depends on the barrel nut. My Mk18 has a plate that sits behind the nut. Then the free float rail bolts to it. And the lower section bolts to the upper.
I dont need to run a adapter ring as Im using Laylax's modular outer barrel. But if your using the stock one you may need to.
1. Normal, real AR's do this. Its the buffer spring
2. Apply hop, and the BB's wont roll out. This is normal on zero hop on a lot of guns. Depends on the type of rubber used and if any hop is applied.
3. Its a gas gun. FPS consistency isnt a strong point My Glock 19 will start at 260 and finish a mag on 240ish. NPAS's are fiddling and take time to find the sweet spot. Failing that run the stock bolt. You cant fail with that. Hell I bought an entire spare off some one here.

Personally, I run 3 mags in my plate carrier, 1 mag in the gun, 2 on a double stack on my shooters belt. Does me perfectly.

Be aware, if you run a HSB, you get a FPS increase.
I didnt notice much cycling rate difference if im honest?
Gunna remove and see what It feels like this weekend

Yes its the Madbull one, nicely made, you need to drill through the bolt ring if you want to retain a dummy gas tube though.
Actually going for a bigger gun, aiming for a MK12 Mod 3 if you will, i notice Daniel Defense and BCM sell these and are in use in theatre.
Heres a mock up - need a higher scope mount and to sort the 18" barrel out properly.
Oh if anyone has a spare original MWS M4A1 barrel they dont want please DM me

Thanks for the indepth look.
I had a Prowin unit out of my G&G, with a R hopped Prommy barrel. I chopped it down, and fit it. I did get the odd misfeed, but I found after lubing the magazines it works a treat now.
Doing that will allow a small drop in FPS, hops .28's like a champ, and will allow better use of the suppressor or a tracer unit.
I really like how short it is, and how light and nimble it is. But I really must buy a high torque motor for it. So im debating a SHS high torque or a Nuprol one to keep costs down.
