If you’ve an empty gas bottle with a metal fill tube, heat the end of the the tube briefly and ‘fill’ your mag - the silicon ring should stick to it and pull out.

I figure if we, as a MWS community, can share this info it will let people spend money on stuff that suits their needs and save costly experimentation 👍

I can also say that the ML MR Hop Silicon 60deg over-hop 0.32g even with hop set to minimum. Stock TM refitted.

You're costing me a fortune in gas dude! Seriously though, this is really useful. Hoping to get to the range next Saturday and will run through the three Vorsk gases I've got, and ASG orange and red. I'll use .32s as well as that's what I'll be running as standard.

In other news I've ordered a Titan nub from Jaeger so may fit that too if it gets here in time.

Ah, interesting. I've always been happy with my stock MWS (apart from replacing the nub with a SixG) but my second one I'm happy having a bit of a play around with.

I'm fascinated by the stuff you've been doing so I'm really interested to see what else you're coming up with.

Incidentally, have you seen that BavTac are working on titanium bolt weights?

Just to chime in, I'm chuffed the graph on the side of the can is being recognised as helpful for working out whats best for you. Just a heads up though, while the Orange & Red are silicone free, the new green does have a small element to it, so for your MWS stick to ultrair for the warmer days.

I posted a bit of a spreadsheet in the MWS thread of my comparison of all 4 of our gasses through my MWS at 23c if you havent seen that. Theres also the price. Ultrair red is available for under a tenner.

I have had a look at the new Ultrair range and like that they print the range of temperatures / pressures on the can. Can’t see anywhere the temperature quoted for Vorsk, just the pressure….pretty useless without that info.

To be honest I find the regular ASG runs fine in temps I am going to be out in (15degC yesterday and 1J plus) and I have a couple of cans of Nuprol 3.0 Red if needed.

Warmer weather might be an issue as I have dumped the self-adjusting NPAS and will have to change the rocket valve to drop the power.

SSPKali reacted to JinxDuh in do people usually run comms on a sunday skirmish? debating if its worth getting a pai
Me and my old man use them, purely for the sake of if he needs me for anything (health related) he can radio instantly or somebody else can on his behalf (He keeps the radio visible on his belt), and I know the situation and to get to him ASAP. Sometimes a few of us run comms for the "tactical" sake but for skirmishes it always ends up neglected as we tend to be within distance of each other anyway. Milsim is where they shine, for obvious reasons!

oh that, that is just following on from the trend in real gun owners in the US running PCC (Pistol caliber carbines) in competitions as the ammo is cheaper and recoil less=faster shot times - TBH they should just run .22LR and be done with it 🤣 But maybe that isn't manly enough....

But I agree it is a dumb idea in airsoft....

Pure drop-ship operation and they do not care about airsofters; which isn't actually a ding on them imho.  The issue is they're not clear about who they are when you go on the site, you're just expected to know, which people of course don't.  But you'll not get 99% of the stuff they offer any other way, if you don't like long silent waits, don't go to them.  Not a conventional business.

Shipping issues on the US side would do it...hopefully they will give me an update.
