I love my USP. First time I used it in Practical Pistol the guy doing the timing was like "wow what is that? It's amazingly accurate." I did suggest that the person holding it might have something to do with it as well. 😄

Sounds like a similar day to ours yesterday. Glad you enjoyed it. How long were the games? Tower is a smaller site and the games aren't too long, saying that my Son has been complaining all day about how sore his legs are. 😂

In a word, great. My Son and I went to Tower Airsoft in Billericay for what was our first outdoor skirmish. There were only 30 players and nearly half of those were one team so it was the rest of us against them. If anyone from Team Sasquatch is reading, thank you. You guys really made the day go well for me and my Son. The games were reasonably brief and a mix of attack and defend. The turnaround time in the morning was a little slow but the pace picked up in the afternoon, and by the finish I was certainly done for the day. Everyone took their hits and spirits were high all day. Marshalling was good, I can see why AP have got the reputation they have. The highlight for me though was the fact that both site owners made a point of seeking out my Son to speak to him and make sure he was enjoying himself. As a parent it always annoys me when people ignore kids and speak to us like they're not there. These guys walked straight past me to speak to him, absolutely brilliant. We shall be back to Tower and will be giving Plantation a go as well. Once I've fully recovered. 😄

Used my 906C in anger yesterday for the first time. Great rifle, light, easy to carry around and accurate. Loved it. One thing I have found though is the front QD points are too thick, they don't hold the QD fitting securely at all. The ones on the receiver and stock are fine, just the two on either side of the front rail. It looks like it's too thick and the pins aren't releasing fully. I'll be removing it later and see if it can be fettled a bit to make things more secure. Having said that it was perfectly fine on a 1 point sling mounted to the receiver.

Me and my Son will be at Tower this Saturday. It's our first outdoor skirmish, done a few indoor ones at Hockley but still feel like complete noobs. If you come along, you won't be the only novice there.

Bought the foregrip today, it's very small. Not sure if I'll keep it on yet, will see how it goes on Saturday.

I have the C. My Son has a G36, so want to keep the batteries universal. Any longer batteries and you might find the stock doesn't close up fully. I hadn't used vapextech before, you get absolutely no shipment information whatsoever. I started to think it was a front for a chinese firm but I ordered Saturday and they arrived yesterday. If you're just after the discs I can pick them up and post if you can't find them anywhere else.

I have a TM USP and it's great. I originally went for a HK 45 but the trigger response on the USP is a bit quicker and as it was for Practical Pistol I went for that instead. My Son has a WE Hi-Capa, it's big and heavy, but he's happy with it.

Isn't that almost identical to your 904E? Only 6 models left in stock now.

Mine arrived today, very fast work from Patrol Base. Took it for a quick trip to the shooting range and it's fab. Zeroed in the sight, slight hop adjustment and it was perfect. I should point out that I'm a complete novice with all this stuff. The real test will be next week when we go to our first outdoor skirmish.

This. I started at a practical pistol night with my son and it was great, lots of help and advice on hand and a good bunch of people. I shall be keeping an eye out for Tower's Practical Shooting nights.

Great thread this. Am looking for my first rifle to start outdoors, was mainly doing practical pistol before covid. Was going to go SA edge series but the reviews are not great for those guns. Think I'll go for an M904E instead.

I ordered my UH-1 in March, came in 30 days. Didn't think that was too bad. Now's the time to order, restrictions are being lifted over there and it will be at lest 6 weeks before you can use it over here. Put ours on the G36 yesterday and setup the garden range, it works very well, even in direct sunlight.
